We are supportive, rewarding, challenging and our goal is to Nuture our staff and help them grow.Our work environment includes:<ul><li>Wellness programs</li><li>Modern office setting</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Safe work environment</li><li>Lively atmosphere</li><li>Casual work attire</li><li>Growth opportunities</li></ul>Our center has been in operation for over 30 years, but changed ownership 9 years ago, and was fully renovated - we are family owned and our focus is our families and our staff creating more of a &quot;family&quot; environment - if you are not interested in working in a corporate setting, then this is the job for you.We are looking for a qualified Toddler Room Teacher for toddlers aged 12 - 28 months.A toddler teacher must have a great love and patience for the little onesThe goal is to nurture the toddlers to meet their milestones and get them ready to move up into Pre-SchoolResponsibilities:<ul><li>Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem</li><li>Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional conflict</li><li>Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times</li><li>Track children&rsquo;s progress and report to parents</li><li>Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children&rsquo;s background and psyche</li><li>Collaborate with other educators</li><li>Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as an ECE/Teacher or Assistant Teachers</li><li>Excellent understanding of the principles of child development methods</li><li>Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms</li><li>Excellent communication and instructional skills</li><li>Ability to act as mediator between children</li><li>Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable</li><li>Balance between a nurture and a practical acumen</li><li>Certification in child CPR</li><li>Valid ECE Certification required for the Lead Teacher</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Group lead Colorado PDIS, CDA or Associates Degree (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Littleton, CO (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
