Job Description: Real Estate Photographer (Freelance Contractor) Company: Porchlight Media Location: North and Central New JerseyPorchlight Media is a rapidly growing real estate marketing company seeking talented photographers and videographers. All you need to do is focus on your craft&mdash;we&rsquo;ll handle the rest.Position Overview: As a Field Photographer, you will capture high-quality photos and videos of residential and commercial properties. This is a fast-paced, freelance contractor role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to grow with the company. We provide comprehensive training, competitive pay, and handle all post-production editing through our in-house team.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Photograph and/or film properties with attention to composition, lighting, and detail.</li><li>Upload all media content by 9 PM on the day of the shoot.</li><li>Maintain professional communication with clients to ensure exceptional customer service.</li><li>Ensure equipment is properly maintained and ready for each assignment.</li><li>Adhere to company guidelines and quality standards for real estate media.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and camera settings.</li><li>Proven experience in real estate photography.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Valid ID and reliable transportation.</li><li>Drone photography experience is a plus (training provided if needed).</li></ul>Required Equipment:<ul><li>Mirrorless full-frame camera</li><li>Wide-angle lens (16-35mm preferred)</li><li>External flash</li><li>Tripod with an accurate level and rotating head</li><li>Motorized gimbal/stabilizer for video (such as the Ronin M or Ronin S)</li><li>High-speed internet access (for uploading media to the processing portal)</li></ul>Bonus Equipment (Optional but Preferred):<ul><li>Drone with camera capabilities</li><li>Lavalier microphone for audio recording</li><li>360 camera (such as Ricoh Theta) with a monopod</li></ul>Additional Information:<ul><li>Background checks are performed on all candidates.</li><li>Must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius for assignments.</li><li>Driver's license is required.</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour (paid per project)</li><li>Flexible schedule with opportunities for growth</li><li>Contract position with a part-time start, with potential for increased workload based on performance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Weekends if you&rsquo;d like to earn more.</li><li>On-call availability for urgent assignments</li></ul>Experience Required:<ul><li>Drone operation: 1 year (Preferred but not required)</li><li>Photography: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Videography: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Application Instructions: When applying, provide:<ul><li>A link to your portfolio showcasing real estate-related media.</li><li>Relevant examples of your work.</li><li>A detailed list of your photography and video gear.</li></ul>Work Location:<ul><li>Primarily on the road, visiting property locations.</li></ul>Join us and be part of a dynamic team revolutionizing real estate marketing in New Jersey!Job Type: Part-timePay: $150.00 - $2,000.00 per dayWork Location: On the road
