Responsibilities</b></p>
<p>
This role demands a dedicated and skilled professional who will utilize a variety of resources to connect with private sellers interested in selling their vehicles</p>
<ul>
<li>Source used vehicle inventory from various channels including the dealership's service drive, internet leads, and street purchases</li>
<li>Leverage market data and negotiation skills to secure vehicles at competitive prices</li>
<li>Negotiate terms of purchase, including payment terms and delivery conditions</li>
<li>Analyze market trends to inform strategic buying decisions</li>
<li>Utilize data analytics tools to identify high-demand vehicle models for acquisition</li>
<li>Track vehicles through delivery channels to ensure timely arrival to the dealership</li>
<li>Determine reconditioning needs and associated costs accurately</li>
<li>Explore and evaluate new methods for vehicle acquisition, including digital platforms and partnerships</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li><b>Required:</b> Minimum of one year of experience in acquisition and used car buying</li>
<li>Highly self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver an exceptional experience</li>
<li>Excellent communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Strong organizational and follow-up abilities</li>
<li>Comfortable using technology and research tools</li>
<li>Ability to assess vehicle value and make sound purchasing decisions</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record</li>
<li>You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Compensation</b></p>
<ul>
<li>The estimated annual earnings for this position are $35,152.00 - $150,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, etc.</li>
</ul>
<p>Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods.</p>
