 The Role
 
 
 
 The VP Healthcare will join a dynamic Healthcare &amp; Pharmaceutical team. This particular position will lead large pharmaceutical communications programs with pre-approval, approval and post approval HCP and consumer outreach and strong understanding of data. Oncology experience would be ideal, but more necessary is a passion for the healthcare space.
 
 
 As a VP on our team, you will be provided with a clearly articulated and well-supported path for career growth. Growth may include working with our other leading pharma clients across a variety of therapeutic categories as well as more health policy.  The work is an interesting blend of product, corporate, advocacy and issues management.

 Developing strong client relationships by providing strategic counsel, building and leading solid account teams, mentoring, motivating, growing and retaining employees and managing accounts to consistently achieve business objectives.

 Demonstrating independence and autonomy with respect to their responsibilities and must exhibit a deep understanding of the clients, their industry, the account and the agency.

 Participating in new business development, company-wide initiatives, and managing finances and resources profitably.

 About 10 years public relations experience with relevant healthcare agency experience or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferred experience in science related health care public relations accounts including pharmaceutical and direct-to-consumer product marketing, advocacy, program development and execution, social marketing and media relations

 </ul>
 The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  The Role
 
 
 
 We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Vice President, Digital Health Strategist to help lead digital work on behalf of a major Healthcare client. The role is responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of social media and digital initiatives, including the development of content, creative campaigns, medical meeting and conference connection strategies, and influencer activations. The role sits at the intersection of our integrated services and healthcare teams implementing innovative, dynamic social-first communications strategies to solve for clients&rsquo; business challenges.
 
 
 The ideal candidate will have a digital-first mentality, deep experience within the Healthcare industry, and be in tune with emerging trends across the landscape from pharma to biotech to consumer and HCP communications. Our social and digital work encompasses branded and product communications and unbranded and disease state awareness campaigns as well as corporate and internal communications. Client-facing responsibilities will include ongoing ideation, strategic consultation around major initiatives and key moments, and relationship management.
 
 
 The VP, Digital Health Strategist is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert and integral strategic advisor internally and externally. The role will cultivate POVs, tool kits and guidance documents, and serve as a trusted partner and relationship builder for our clients and key stakeholders.
 
 
 We are looking for someone who is collaborative and willing to work on teams to do bold new things &ndash; someone who wants the challenge of solving client problems within the highly regulated healthcare industry, even as social media paradigms and practices evolve and shift. They will be influential voices within the integrated services and healthcare teams, and be relied on to analyze industry trends, provide perspectives on competitive activities and opportunities, and help drive operational excellence.
 
 
 
 What You Will Be Doing

 Serve as a senior social strategy contact for a major healthcare client
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement innovative social brand and social content strategies that are integrated with overall client marketing objectives and goals
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with agency partners to develop and implement integrated media strategy, media planning, and program execution
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead development of social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social channels
 </li>
 <li>
 Help deploy an industry-leading technology stack that supports insights development, audience intelligence, and performance measurement
 </li>
 <li>
 A balance of writing and analytical skills with an ability to translate research and data into actionable insights.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in utilizing social and digital technological innovations to advance current client offerings and engagements
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 The Experience That Will Contribute To Your Success
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Have 8+ years of social and digital experience within healthcare industry (client-side), advertising and/or PR agency
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with complex HIPAA and FDA-regulated issues a must
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with oncology and related fields is beneficial
 </li>
 <li>
 A track record of creative thinking and effective execution in social media and digital platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Possess a thorough command of the social media and digital spaces (from shifting consumer platforms to new HCP-platform features to evolving applications of AI), sophisticated client service and digital communications skills, high energy and passion for this area of rapid change and innovation
 </li>
 <li>
 Work well within highly collaborative, integrated teams &ndash; displaying proven ability in running a team, controlling timelines and budgets, anticipating issues and working towards solutions to complex problems
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand the paid media environment and how it applies to a holistic social media strategy
 </li>
 <li>
 An expert grasp of influencer (patient, caregiver, HCP) strategy including planning, contracting, activating, and amplifying end-to-end campaigns
 </li>
 <li>
 Have the proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
