The Community Manager oversees all operational, financial, and customer service aspects of the property. This role leads the on-site team to achieve high levels of occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance while maintaining compliance with company policies and objectives.<br>

<b>Key Responsibilities</b></div>
<div></div><div><b>Leadership &amp; Team Development</b></div>
<ul><li>Recruit, hire, train, and develop all on-site team members.</li>
<li>Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with company policies, professional appearance, and customer service standards.</li>
<li>Motivate the team through recognition, feedback, and incentive programs.</li>
</ul><div><b>Financial Management</b></div>
<ul><li>Prepare and manage the annual operating budget and business plan.</li>
<li>Oversee rent collection, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.</li>
<li>Monitor financial statements, control expenses, and participate in monthly financial reviews.</li>
<li>Approve invoices, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to budget goals.</li>
</ul><div><b>Leasing &amp; Marketing</b></div>
<ul><li>Direct all leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals.</li>
<li>Oversee prospect management, leasing processes, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs.</li>
<li>Maintain market knowledge through regular competitor analysis and market surveys.</li>
<li>Partner with marketing to execute community outreach, advertising, and resident events.</li>
</ul><div><b>Maintenance &amp; Property Operations</b></div>
<ul><li>Supervise maintenance operations with the Maintenance Supervisor.</li>
<li>Ensure timely completion of service requests, make-readies, and preventive maintenance programs.</li>
<li>Maintain high curb appeal standards and oversee capital projects and vendor contracts.</li>
<li>Enforce safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.</li>
</ul><div><b>Resident Relations &amp; Retention</b></div>
<ul><li>Foster positive resident relationships through exceptional customer service and timely communication.</li>
<li>Manage renewal strategies, resident events, and retention programs.</li>
<li>Respond promptly to complaints, conflicts, and emergency situations.</li>
<li>Promote community policies and maintain resident satisfaction standards.</li>
</ul><div><b>Administration &amp; Reporting</b></div>
<ul><li>Ensure timely and accurate data entry in property management systems (e.g., OneSite, Yardi).</li>
<li>Maintain organized filing systems and submit all reports and documentation on schedule.</li>
<li>Collaborate effectively with corporate staff, vendors, and sister communities.</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li><b>Experience:</b> 2&ndash;4 years of progressive property management experience; prior Community or Assistant Community Manager experience preferred.</li>
<li><b>Education:</b> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred or equivalent experience.</li>
<li><b>Software:</b> Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with OneSite, Yardi, or similar systems.</li>
</ul><div><b>Skills &amp; Competencies</b></div>
<ul><li>Strong leadership and team management abilities.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.</li>
