With a diverse, inclusive team committed to excellence and continuous learning, we&rsquo;re looking for a Part-time Marketing Assistant who can capture and convey the essence of our mission and values.The Role: As a Part-time Marketing Assistant, you&rsquo;ll support our outreach efforts to highlight Portland Psychotherapy&rsquo;s evidence-based care, innovative therapies, and commitment to inclusion, training, and research. Working closely with leadership and clinical staff, you will execute a consistent content cadence, maintain our digital presence, and use data to improve reach and impact&mdash;always with sensitivity to the context of mental health services and client confidentiality.Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Content cadence &amp; newsletters: Help maintain a content calendar; draft, build, and send 2&ndash;4 monthly newsletters; manage and grow segmented email lists.</li><li>Social media execution: Create 10&ndash;20 pieces of original content/month; schedule posts; manage Instagram and Facebook; engage respectfully with our community and partners.</li><li>Web &amp; SEO support: Make basic edits in Squarespace/WordPress; ensure pages are current, accessible, and locally optimized (business listings, NAP consistency, on-page SEO).</li><li>Digital ads support: Assist with Google Ads (and Meta Ads if used): implement updates, track conversions, and surface recommendations.</li><li>Design &amp; collateral: Produce simple graphics and layout for digital/print materials that reflect our brand and inclusive ethos.</li><li>Data &amp; reporting: Track KPIs across web, social, and ads; prepare a monthly snapshot for leadership; suggest practical adjustments based on results.</li><li>Project coordination: Keep a simple tracker of marketing tasks/campaigns; follow up with stakeholders to hit deadlines; maintain brand assets and guidelines.</li><li>Community presence: Post/update community listings and event pages; support relationship-building with local organizations (nonprofits, clinics, educational partners).</li><li>Meetings: Attend a weekly marketing meeting, a monthly company meeting, and occasional planning meetings.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For: <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing/Communications or 2+ years equivalent marketing experience.</li><li>Hands-on skills with Squarespace and WordPress for basic edits.</li><li>Experience with Google Ads (and familiarity with Meta Ads).</li><li>Demonstrated social media creation/management (Instagram/Facebook) and basic copywriting.</li><li>Comfort with remote tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom).</li><li>Basic grasp of local SEO practices and how to apply performance metrics.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and uphold confidentiality in a healthcare context.</li><li>Ability to work fully remotely using your own equipment</li><li>Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours</li><li>Must exhibit cultural humility and be LGBTQIA+ affirming </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with healthcare or mental health settings</li><li>Interest in evidence-based care and science-informed communication</li></ul>What We Offer: A role in a mission-driven organization with a tangible community and global impact.Competitive compensation ($15-25/hour) for 20-30 hours/week, with flexible working hours.Opportunities for professional development in a supportive, enriching environment.A chance to work in a setting that balances professional growth with quality of life.How to Apply: If you&rsquo;re motivated to make a difference and possess the skills and vision to elevate our presence in the mental health field, we&rsquo;d love to meet you.
