About the Role</h3>

We&rsquo;re hiring a Strategic Account Manager to drive growth across the Portrait Marketplace.

This role is a blend of new business development and account growth. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for bringing new clinics onto the platform and continuing to support them post-sale to ensure they are actively purchasing and growing their spend over time.

This is not a &ldquo;close it and move on&rdquo; role. Success here comes from building relationships, driving adoption, and helping clinics shift how they purchase inventory.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
What You&rsquo;ll Be Responsible For</h3>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">1. New Clinic Acquisition</h4>
<ul>
<li>Identify, engage, and close new aesthetic and wellness clinics</li>
<li>
Clearly communicate Portrait&rsquo;s value: platform, pricing, product access, and rewards structure</li>
<li>
Drive urgency and move deals toward activation</li></ul> 
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
2. Activation &amp; First Order</h4>
<ul>
<li>Own the transition from signed first order placed</li>
<li>
Ensure accounts don&rsquo;t stall after signing</li>
<li>
Partner with internal teams to remove friction and get clinics live quickly</li></ul> 
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
3. Account Growth (GMV Ownership)</h4>
<ul>
<li>Grow monthly purchasing volume across your book of business</li>
<li>
Stay engaged with clinics after onboarding to:
<ul>
<li>Increase order frequency</li>
<li>
Expand product adoption</li>
<li>
Consolidate vendors into Portrait</li></ul></li> 
</ul>
 
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">4. Relationship Management</h4>
<ul>
<li>Build long-term relationships with clinic owners, providers, and operators</li>
<li>
Stay close to accounts to understand:
<ul>
<li>What they&rsquo;re buying</li>
<li>
Where they&rsquo;re currently purchasing</li>
<li>
What&rsquo;s preventing them from shifting more volume</li></ul></li> 
</ul>
 
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">5. Sales Strategy &amp; Product Positioning</h4>
<ul>
<li>Position Portrait as a margin improvement and operations platform, not just another vendor</li>
<li>
Educate clients on:
<ul>
<li>EHR + platform capabilities</li>
<li>
Tiered pricing + rewards program</li>
<li>
Marketplace product access across injectables, wellness, and pharmacy</li>
</ul>
</li><li>Use available levers (ex: temporary tier upgrades) to drive conversions</li></ul>

6. Pipeline &amp; Forecasting</h4>
<ul>
<li>Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline</li>
<li>
Clearly categorize deals:
<ul>
<li>Close Now</li>
<li>
Nurture</li>
<li>
Disqualified</li>
</ul>
</li><li>Provide visibility into expected activation timelines and revenue</li></ul> 
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
How This Role Works</h3>
<ul>
<li>You will manage a book of business + inbound leads (no territory restrictions)</li>
<li>
You will hand off onboarding to the operations team, but stay engaged with the account</li>
<li>
You are responsible for growth, not just the initial sale</li></ul>

<li>New clinics activated (first order placed)</li>
<li>
Monthly GMV generated</li>
<li>
Month-over-month growth across your accounts</li>

Strong retention and repeat purchasing behavior</li>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3>
<ul>
<li>7+ Years experience in the aesthetics and/or wellness industry</li>
<li>
Experience in sales, preferably in:
<ul><li>
Aesthetics, medspa, pharma, or medical sales</li></ul>
</li>
</ul>OR
<ul>
<li>Experience in practice management within:
<ul>
<li>Medspa</li>
<li>
Plastic surgery</li>
<li>
Dermatology</li>
</ul>
</li><li>Strong relationship builder (not just transactional closer)</li>
<li>
Comfortable managing both new business and existing accounts</li>
<li>
Able to move quickly and maintain momentum across multiple deals</li>
<li>
Strong communication and follow-up skills</li>
<li>
Ability to understand both the clinical and business side of a practice</li></ul>
