Responsibilities:

The role of the Director of Marketing Procurement is to plan and execute purchasing and sourcing strategies for the Marketing and Sales organization. Responsible for setting the procurement strategy, aligning with the marketing leadership team, and executing against the strategy for Post Holdings and all of its subsidiaries. This includes defining purchasing recommendations to support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders and driving continuous improvements throughout the function to increase efficiencies and/or reduce overall total costs for the business.</div><div><br>
</div><div>This role will be responsible for Marketing and Sales categories across PCB, MFI, BEF, CF, Pet with a spend totaling more than $350 million.</div><div><br>
</div><div><b>Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Leadership</b> - Setting individual and team goals, developing capability within PHI and modeling how to work together with other PHI business partners and within the PHI Procurement Center of Excellence.</div><ul><li>
Identifies and communicates key responsibilities to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.</li><li>
Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of Post Holdings businesses and programs.</li><li>
Manages direct reports</li><li>
Establishes and monitors a motivated and high-performance culture within the Indirect procurement group</li><li>
Works directly with the Marketing leadership team to execute against defined goals and strategies collectively set by both the marketing and procurement teams</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Planning and Execution -</b> Develop strategic and operational plans for the work, manage execution and measure results:</div><ul><li>
Develops individual and team goals to support departmental and company goals</li><li>
Develops strategies, schedules, and work requirements to ensure that business activities meet time and budget goals</li><li>
Leads strategic planning activities as needed to ensure long term marketing strategy and cost savings</li><li>
Leads the design, implementation, and utilization of measurement tools to evaluate business process effectiveness and supplier performance</li><li>
Plans and manages department processes and practices to ensures that programs are aligned with business goals and objectives</li><li>
Prepares, communicates, and educates business partners (including customers) and team members on procurement policies and practices</li></ul><p></p><div><b><br>

Assesses critical information required to make effective decisions or recommendations within the marketing and sales organization

Recommends modifications to marketing strategy as needed to achieve superior results.</li><li>
Provides periodic market and strategic updates to senior marketing and sales leaders as needed</li><li>
Ensures that processes and systems improve service, gain efficiencies, or improve quality and reduce costs</li><li>
Leads the design and implementation of strategy, tools and metrics to support business requirements including;<ul><li>
Sourcing</li><li>
Negotiation</li><li>
Corporate marketing and sales goals
</li><li>Creative, ecomm, Media, PR, Data Analytics, IMC, and Sales</li><li>

</li><li>Leads the design and implementation of procurement processes and foundational procurement systems across the Marketing and Sales categories.</li><li>
Manages strategic relationships with other business units, functional areas and suppliers to support overall business requirements</li><li>
Directs and manages the process for evaluating bids, negotiating contracts and monitoring supplier performance</li><li>
Provides technical or product expertise to suppliers and internal customers regarding commodities, products of services.</li><li>
Using problem solving and analysis to assess the financial and strategic impact of business initiatives</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<div><b><i>
Education &amp; Experience</i></b></div><ul><li>
10-12 years overall Marketing and/or Procurement experience</li><li>
7-10 years: Performance metrics, development, and root cause analysis</li><li>
5-7 years procurement specific experience, including:<ul><li>
Negotiations, Sourcing and RFP/RFQ issuance and analysis, Contract/Agreement development</li><li>
Vendor management</li><li>
Project management, including budget understanding and compliance</li><li>
Supply chain fundamentals</li></ul></li><li>
5-7 years: Managing teams, multiple purchasing functions</li></ul><div></div><div><b><i><br>

This is a hybrid role. In-office days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Work from home days are Mondays and Fridays. #LI-hybrid
 </p>: The pay range for this position is $129,701 - $212,709 per year.</div>
