<ul><li>Design, develop, and optimize deep neural network (DNN) models for automatic dysarthria detection, subtype classification, and severity grading using multi-modal speech data (acoustic, physiological, aerodynamic).</li><li>Implement feature extraction, data preprocessing, and augmentation pipelines (MFCCs, jitter/shimmer, EGG, nasalance, etc.).</li><li>Perform model training, validation (10-fold CV), transfer learning (e.g., wav2vec 2.0), and interpretability analysis (SHAP).</li><li>Integrate DNN outputs into a conversational agent (CA) for personalized speech therapy exercises.</li><li>Collaborate with speech-language pathologists for data collection, clinical validation, and benchmarking against FDA ratings.</li><li>Document findings, prepare reports, and contribute to publications/manuscripts.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 34 monthsPay: From ₹80,000.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Senior Research Scientist (AI)

<ul><li>Conduct clinical assessment of patients with neurogenic dysarthria (primarily post-stroke, Parkinson&rsquo;s, ALS, etc.).</li><li>Perform standardized speech tasks (vowel prolongation, DDK, sentence reading) and perceptual evaluations using Frenchay Dysarthria Assessment (FDA).</li><li>Collect and annotate multi-modal speech data (acoustic recordings via PRAAT/CSL, EGG, nasometry, spirometry).</li><li>Assist in severity grading, subtype classification, and data labelling for DNN training.</li><li>Support patient recruitment, informed consent process, and pilot/RCT therapy sessions.</li><li>Collaborate with the AI team for model validation against clinical ratings and contribute to usability testing of the conversational agent.</li><li>Maintain accurate clinical records, ensure ethical compliance, and assist in report/manuscript preparation.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 34 monthsPay: From ₹67,200.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Master's (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 31/12/2025
