In this role, you&rsquo;ll lead and grow our Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, and Education practice in Florida while helping establish a dedicated Power/Energy practice. You&rsquo;ll drive business development, strengthen client relationships, and collaborate with other offices to cross-sell services and expand opportunities with national clients. In addition to leading a team of engineers and support personnel, this position will also be actively involved in professional associations and community organizations.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities</div><ul><li>
Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders</li><li>
Provide overall guidance on the design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects</li><li>
Prepare proposals and client agreements</li><li>
Monitor project tasks, budgets and schedules with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers</li><li>
Responsible for the oversight of technical and professional development of project team(s)</li><li>
Participate in developing company design and production standards</li><li>
Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations</li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural or civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university</li><li>
Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Florida</li><li>
15 years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in commercial/site development; at least 10 of those years managing projects; Florida area experience and contacts are a strong plus</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices</li><li>
Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees in an organization</li><li>
Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders</li><li>
Proven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnel</li><li>
Actively involved in professional associations and civic organizations</li><li>
Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday</li></ul><div></div><div>
