Responsibilities:
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Description</b></h3><div>
The Software Engineering team is a group of full stack developers who design, develop, and maintain our products, tools, and infrastructure.</div><div>
Your day-to-day job will consist of:</div><ul><li>
Developing assessment loading import tools using a combination of JavaScript, JSON, SQL and Python</li><li>
Troubleshooting issues with the data import tools</li><li>
Performing code reviews and other QA checks and audits to ensure that code is high quality, efficient and meets coding standards</li><li>
Working with a variety of legacy and new code and tools</li><li>
Contribute to the definition and execution of the evolution of our assessment import process and software tools for the Analytics and Insights product, working with cross functional teams</li><li>
Load customer data and interact with customers to address questions as required</li><li>
Document code, work process, and contribute to the planning and documentation of new software tools.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.</li><li>
At least 2 years experience with JavaScript, JSON, SQL</li><li>
At least 2 years experience working as a client facing resource in a software development role</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</li><li>
Ability to work U.S. aligned work schedule</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li><i>
Experience with Python</i></li><li>
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.</li><li>
Solid understanding of database design and query optimization</li></ul>

Team Overview</b></h3><div>
The assessment data loading team provides data loading, visualization, troubleshooting and tool development to faciliate the import of assessment data into the Analytics and Insights platform.</div>
Responsibilities:
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Description</b></h3><div>
This position is responsible for loading K-12 assessment data into the Analytics and Insights platform, troubleshooting those data loads and updating data visualizations of that data. Assessment data is a key and foundational dataset that allows our customers to fully utilize the Analytics and Insights platform to impact instructional outcomes.</div><div></div><div><br>
This position will work in our assessment data team, leveraging knowledge of K-12 assessment data and technical competencies, to load assessment data and to resolve and rapidly address technical questions and issues, with a focus on providing an outstanding customer experience. Additionally, this role may be required to create internal and client-facing documentation and contribute to the evolution of the Analytics and Insights product.</div><div></div><div><br>
Your day-to-day job will consist of:</div><ul><li>
Loading assessment data into the Analytics and Insights platform, using pre-built tools, scripts and SQL queries</li><li>
Updating data visualizations for customer assessment data using SQL and other tools</li><li>
Updating loading request tickets with customer facing comments and questions</li><li>
Troubleshooting data loading issues as they arise using critical thinking skills, SQL queries and other tools</li><li>
Using basic SQL queries to identify data anomalies</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Minimum of 3 years of relevant and related work experience.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.</li><li>
Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree.</li><li>
Strong SQL skills</li><li>
Experience developing and maintaining data visualizations using SQL or other tools</li><li>
Experience with and understanding of K-12 assessment terminology, practice, score data and test metadata</li><li>
Understanding of basic data warehouse concepts and terminology</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Experience developing technical documentation</li><li>
Understanding of the concepts of Agile development</li></ul>
