<div>VDC Specialist II 
Role, Function &amp; Organization
The Specialist II, VDC is responsible for independently developing accurate 3D models of electrical systems for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules and field requirements. This role requires effective collaboration with the VDC team, Project Managers, field supervisors, and other trade partners to coordinate layout and installation details. This position also involves occasional 2D drafting and documentation work. This specialist plays a key role in supporting construction efficiency and ensuring models meet quality and coordination standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
3D Modeling &amp; Coordination: 
<ul><li>
Create accurate 3D elements for electrical work on construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules and field requirements</li><li>
Coordinate models and drawings with project field supervisors</li><li>
Finalize install and as-built drawings and deliver them to project management for field use</li><li>
Support less experienced VDC team members by offering guidance and sharing modeling expertise when requested</li></ul>
Clash Detection &amp; Resolution: 
<ul><li>
Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts independently by collaborating with other trades</li><li>
Utilize various VDC software platforms to facilitate coordination and model integration</li></ul>
Drafting &amp; Documentation: 
<ul><li>
Develop 2D CAD drawings as needed for prefabrication, details, one-lines, and layout</li><li>
Produce accurate as-built drawings and maintain up-to-date project documentation, including drawing files, correspondence, and schedules</li></ul>
Project Communication &amp; Process Improvement: 
<ul><li>
Participate in coordination meetings with general contractors, architects, and engineers to stay informed on new or updated tools that may enhance efficiency</li><li>
Utilize and develop Revit families and templates to standardize modeling practices</li><li>
Maintain current software licenses and stay informed on new or updated tools that may enhance efficiency</li></ul>
Safety/Hazard Recognition &amp; Elimination: 
<ul><li>
Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.</li><li>
Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention.</li><li>
Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.</li><li>
Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.</li><li>
Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.</li></ul>
Qualifications and Requirements 
<ul><li>
Associates degree in Architectural Technology (or related construction degree or experience) preferred</li><li>
2-5 years experience in Virtual Design Construction</li><li>
Electrical contracting/construction experience preferred</li><li>
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks, and Microsoft Suite software</li></ul>
Experience, Skill and Abilities 
<ul><li>

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)</li><li>

The Specialist, Health and Safety supports the development, coordination, and implementation of safety programs to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all health and safety regulations. This role assists in reviewing and analyzing jobsites, working closely with supervisors to identify and eliminate hazards, and helps enforce adherence to corporate safety standards and applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety Program Support &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>
Assist in the review, evaluation, and analysis of work environments and safety practices to help prevent injuries and incidents</li><li>
Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA, state, local, and company standards</li><li>
Visit jobsites to observe field operations, monitor compliance, and encourage hazard recognition</li><li>
Notify management of any observed safety violations and help ensure corrective actions are implemented</li><li>
Provide field crews with safety signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to control access to hazardous areas</li><li>
Respond to safety-related questions from employees and supervisors as a knowledgeable resource</li><li>
Participate in accident investigations, contribute to root cause analysis, and support development of prevention strategies</li><li>
Help prepare documentation for accident reports, insurance claims, and safety reviews</li><li>
Assist in ensuring all jobsite safety, first aid, and fire prevention equipment is present and in working order</li><li>
Support documentation and submission of all required safety records, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance</li></ul>
Training &amp; Field Engagement:<ul><li>
Conduct weekly safety orientations for new hires and support their integration into the company&rsquo;s safety culture</li><li>
Assist with the development and scheduling of safety talks and monthly meeting topics relevant to ongoing field conditions</li><li>
Deliver on-the-job training in specific areas (e.g., aerial lift, forklift) after completion of appropriate training courses</li><li>
Support First Aid/CPR training sessions and assist the trainer as needed</li><li>
Help coordinate contractor safety training and ensure field leadership begins meetings with a focus on safety</li><li>
Participate in accident review meetings at the branch or company level as needed</li></ul>
Pre-Construction &amp; Planning Support:<ul><li>
Participate in pre-construction safety planning by conducting site visits and helping develop site-specific safety plans addressing PPE, hazards, and work practices</li><li>
Work with project teams to ensure all customer and company safety requirements are identified and addressed before work begins</li><li>
Stay informed on emerging industry safety topics and recommend adjustments to programs and practices as needed</li></ul>

Prior experience in the electrical or construction field preferred</li></ul>

The Engineer II, Machine Safety is responsible for evaluating industrial automation systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role involves conducting risk assessments, designing and implementing machine safety solutions, and supporting clients with audits and compliance. Machine Safety Design &amp; Risk Assessment:<ul><li>
Conduct comprehensive hazard analyses and risk assessments</li><li>
Implement ISO 12100 and other relevant safety standards to develop effective risk mitigation strategies</li><li>
Design and integrate machine safety systems such as emergency stop systems (E-Stops), light curtains, interlocks, and other safety mechanisms tailored to client requirements</li><li>

Incident Investigation &amp; Continuous Improvement:
