We are hiring an advanced chip-level repair technician who can diagnose the root cause and fix Apple devices and other laptops/smartphones by repairing boards and replacing faulty components, not just swapping parts. You should also be confident in device disassembly and full hardware replacement work.Location: Dubai / UAE Type: Full-timeRoles &amp; ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics &amp; Troubleshooting<ul><li>Perform advanced diagnosis on MacBook, iPhone, iPad, laptops, and smartphones (no power, liquid damage, short circuits, boot loop, no display, charging issues, data issues, etc.).</li><li>Identify root cause using schematics/boardviews and testing tools.</li><li>Create a clear repair plan with estimated time/cost and required parts.</li></ul>Chip-Level / Logic Board Repair (Core)<ul><li>Carry out micro-soldering and component-level repairs (IC replacement/reballing if required, connector replacement, backlight/charging circuits, short finding, etc.).</li><li>Handle liquid damage repairs: ultrasonic/cleaning, corrosion treatment, trace repair/jumper work.</li><li>Replace faulty parts/components on board level with proper testing and quality checks.</li></ul>Device Hardware Repairs<ul><li>Safely open and reassemble devices with best practices.</li><li>Perform part replacements: screens, batteries, keyboards, trackpads, speakers, ports, cameras, housings etc.</li><li>Ensure proper seal/fitment, cable routing, and no cosmetic damage.</li></ul>Quality Control &amp; Testing<ul><li>Test thoroughly after repair: charging/current draw, boot, display, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, sensors, cameras, speakers, Touch ID/Face ID (where applicable).</li><li>Maintain low repeat repairs by proper diagnosis and final QA checks.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Process<ul><li>Record diagnosis findings, parts used, before/after results.</li><li>Follow ESD safety and workshop standards.</li><li>Support the team by guiding junior techs when needed.</li></ul>Desired Candidate ProfileMust-have Skills<ul><li>Strong chip-level repair skills for MacBook logic boards and iPhone/iPad smartphone boards</li><li>Confident in:</li><li>Short detection and power rail troubleshooting</li><li>Micro-soldering under microscope</li><li>Connector replacement and trace repair</li><li>Reading and using schematics/boardview</li><li>Experience with tools like:</li><li>DC power supply, multimeter, hot air station, soldering station</li><li>Microscope, rework tools, cleaning equipment (ultrasonic is a plus)</li></ul>Good-to-have / Added Advantage<ul><li>Experience with common Apple platforms: MacBook A-series boards, iPhone/iPad board-level faults</li><li>Data-focused approach (especially MacBook / iPhone data protection mindset)</li><li>Ability to handle urgent repairs and maintain clean workmanship</li><li>Own visa (added advantage)</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Preferred: 3+ years in advanced repair (chip-level), but skill matters more than years.</li><li>Must be able to work independently and consistently deliver successful repairs.</li></ul>Qualification<ul><li>No formal qualification required if skills are proven.</li><li>Any certifications (Apple/ACMT, micro-soldering course, etc.) are a plus but not mandatory.</li></ul>Trial Period<ul><li>Paid 1-week trial period (hands-on evaluation).</li><li>If performance meets our standards, we continue long-term. If not, we stop after the trial.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
