Duties: - Provide one-on-one and/or small group tutoring sessions to students in kindergarten through eighth grade in any subject area - Assist students with homework assignments and teach them how to use notes to complete assignments - Monitor student progress and provide ongoing feedback to director - Incorporate interactive and engaging activities to enhance student learning - Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needsRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Education and/or content area (if 6-12 grade subject), or a current teaching license - Experience working with children, particularly in a tutoring or classroom setting - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students of all ages - Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is a plusJob Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Teaching Certificate in K-5 or K-12 education (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

K-8 Teacher-Tutor (IN PERSON)

Duties: - Provide one-on-one and/or small group tutoring sessions to students in upper math courses, specifically Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 &amp; 2, Geometry Pre-Cal, Calculus, SAT prep. Physics &amp; Chemistry knowledge a plus! - Assist students in grades 6 grade -early college with homework assignments and teach them how to use notes to complete assignments.-Guide students through organization and study skills strategies. - Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to director. - Incorporate interactive and engaging activities to enhance student learning. - Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs or learning differences.Required Qualifications:<ul><li>background check</li><li>Expertise in noted subject area</li><li>Experience working with children ages 11-20</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education, content area, and/or a related field - Experience working with children in a tutoring or classroom setting - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students of all ages. - Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is a plus.Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
