Position Overview
 
Praescient Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer to support the Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division (JMD). This role will act as a technical lead and subject matter expert (SME) for Power Platform-based data analytics solutions, enabling mission-critical insights and application development.
 
This position plays a central role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade data solutions leveraging Microsoft's Power Platform ecosystem in a secure federal environment. “US Citizenship is Required.”
 
Key Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Serve as the technical lead for end-to-end development of Power Platform solutions</li>
<li>Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using:</li>
<li>Power BI</li>
<li>Power Apps</li>
<li>Power Automate</li>
<li>Perform data modeling, transformation, and integration across multiple data sources</li>
<li>Develop intuitive dashboards, reports, and user interfaces for stakeholders</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance and best practices for Power Platform implementations</li>
<li>Lead architectural design and contribute to solution strategy</li>
<li>Gather and refine requirements through stakeholder engagement</li>
<li>Troubleshoot system issues and implement enhancements</li>
<li>Deliver technical briefings, documentation, and presentations</li>
<li>Collaborate with DOJ OCIO and ASB stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise strategy</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, application development, or data engineering</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with:</li>
<li>Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)</li>
<li>Data modeling and transformation</li>
<li>Dashboard and report development</li>
<li>Proven ability to serve as a technical lead or SME</li>
<li>Prior Experience supporting federal clients, preferably DOJ</li>
<li>Public Trust or higher level security clearance</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in a related field</li>
</ul>
Technical Skills
 
<ul>
<li>Strong expertise in Power Platform architecture and development</li>
<li>Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources</li>
<li>Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools such as:</li>
<li>Azure</li>
<li>Office 365</li>
<li>SharePoint</li>
<li>Ability to design scalable, user-friendly data solutions</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of low-code/no-code development environments</li>
<li>Experience working in FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments</li>
<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences</li>
</ul>
Clearance: Minimum of a Public Trust (U.S. Citizenship is Required)
