If you're willing to relocate to one of these areas or can reliably commute, please apply!**The Maintenance Technician maintains the physical condition and appearance of our portfolio of properties. This position is accountable for identifying problems, completing service requests, and making repairs in order to maintain the material and aesthetic condition of the communities. The Maintenance Technician works in accordance with operating and safety standards, ensuring requests and repairs are made in a reliable, timely manner to residents&rsquo; satisfaction; anticipating and evaluating potential problems; and then proactively develops plans to counter challenges. Must be able to complete essential tasks without direct supervision or oversight.THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION.Job Duties Include<ul><li>Painting</li><li>Carpentry</li><li>Flooring install</li><li>Pool Maintenance</li><li>Maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.)</li><li>Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc&hellip;)</li><li>Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping)</li><li>Pickup materials from stores as needed</li><li>Anything else assigned by management.</li><li>Willing to work overtime and on call for maintenance emergencies</li><li>Able to work outside for long hours</li><li>Landscaping and groundskeeping</li><li>Repair and Install HVAC systems (preferred)</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as maintenance technician</li><li>Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant fields will be a plus</li><li>Pool Certification preferred</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Drivers License</li><li>Car Insurance</li><li>Vehicle</li><li>Ability to lift 25-100 lbs alone</li><li>Smartphone</li><li>Zelle</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
