DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Ensures product quality through systems for &ldquo;right first time&rdquo; performance and incorporates this philosophy in the continuous improvement teams.</li>

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Quality Technician - 3rd Shift

<div>Position Summary:

This position will report to the Production Manager. Direct and manage plant floor operations with overall responsibilities for production, quality and other production related activities. This position requires that the Production Supervisor to spend a significant amount of time on the production floor. In doing so, he/she will work with direct reports to uncover opportunities for process improvement, improved downtime, reduce waste, cost reduction and quality enhancements all in a safe manner. This individual must develop, train manufacturing floor employees by mentoring developing and challenging them.

Essential Functions &amp; Key Responsibilities:

Function: Plant Management
<ul>
<li>Commit to overall safety of the plant and procedures.</li>
<li>Manage 3 to 30 manufacturing employees at the location</li>
<li>Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations.</li>
<li>Increase production, assets capacity, reducing waste and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.</li>
<li>Be responsible for production output, product quality, reducing waste and on time shipping.</li>
<li>Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.</li>
<li>Implement strategies in alignment with strategic Division initiatives providing a clear sense of direction and focus for production employees.</li>
<li>Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.</li>
<li>Share a trusting relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop the plant staff. Provide leadership and drive training initiatives for all plant employees. Develop future talent by coaching and mentoring direct reports.</li>

Material Handler 1st Shift

Responsible for all activities associated with safely assisting operating production machines including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations to meet customer demand.

Assistant Machine Operator-3rd Shift

<div>As a Stacker Operator, you'll be part of our corrugator team, responsible for stacking, tagging and preparing finished units for shipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who's dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 PM &ndash; 2:00 AM) &mdash; Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed

Starting Pay: $18.00/hour &ndash; Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.

<li>Insert protective top/bottom sheets and tie sheets when needed</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Computer literacy.</li>
<li>Previous Quality experience in a Manufacturing environment
</li><li>High school graduate or equivalent with related college degree and/or technical courses or associate (two-year) college degree.</li>
<li>Minimum of one years of experience in a related field and knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, ISO, Six Sigma preferred, OSHA or Safety related field.</li>

This is a 2nd shift position-Hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Training will be on 1st shift but then will be moved to 2nd shift once training is complete.
