Packaging Designer

<div>Responsible for all activities associated with running the single-facer and assisting in wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
<ul>
<li>Operate the single-facers to produce the highest level of production and quality.</li>
<li>Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is received and used.</li>
<li>Put rolls of paper in mill roll stands ensuring proper size and grade of paper to be run and make splices and paper changes as necessary.</li>
<li>Trim only the necessary amount of paper from the rolls when preparing for splices.</li>
<li>Remove roll stock from the machine when necessary and mark the proper size, grade, diameter and lineal footage on the roll and place core plugs in each end of the butt rolls.</li>
<li>Continuously monitor the board during runs to ensure quality and make adjustments as necessary.</li>
<li>Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.</li>
<li>Clean starch pan, glue roll and singlefacer area after changing flutes and at the end of the production week.</li>
<li>Take all paper off of cores of stub rolls.</li>
<li>Assist in the wet end training of the Doublebacker and dry end personnel.</li>
<li>Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.</li>
<li>Additional duties may be assigned by management.</li>

Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery used in the production of corrugated products. This includes ensuring machine efficiency, monitoring product quality, and training other operators.

Machine Setup &amp; Operation:

Job Summary:

Electrical and Instrumentation Technician installs, services, troubleshoots and performs preventive and predictive maintenance functions on plant equipment. This equipment includes but is not limited to; plant lighting equipment, electrical circuits, motors, starters, motor control centers, programmable controllers, control panels, transformers, switches, transmitters, automatic valves, regulators, guide systems, distributed control systems, PLC's, overhead cranes etc. May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED). Must have basic math skills. Must be mechanically inclined and a minimum of 2 years of electrical / instrumentation training and/or experience. Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).

Essential Job Functions:
<ul><li>Able to troubleshoot, repair and wire 120 volt and (3) phase 460 volt circuits and electrical equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Basic understanding of Electricity and Instrumentation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Able to troubleshoot, repair and install distribution systems up to 460 volts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Able to troubleshoot, repair and install controls: coils contactors, relays, brakes etc.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Able to troubleshoot and install switches; proximity, speed, limit, pressure etc.</li></ul>
