What You Will Do
Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity. Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family. Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost. May perform delivery assurance responsibilities.<ul><li>
Support procurement activities for Collins Aerospace and responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity</li><li>
Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans.</li><li>
Responds to value stream inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization&rsquo;s best interest.</li><li>
Prepares purchase orders to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.</li><li>
Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.</li><li>
Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries and develops and maintains good vendor relationships.</li><li>
Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost and perform delivery assurance responsibilities.</li><li>
English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.</li><li>
Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company and have availability to travel up to 10% domestically.</li><li>
Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required and actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using ACE tools and support AS9100 efforts. Obtain ACE Associate certification.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration, Technology or Engineering</li><li>
2 years of global supply chain experience.</li></ul>

Experience in MS Office suite</li><li>
Experience in multitasking and adhere to specific timetables</li><li>
Bachelors in Finance, Accounting and Information Technology</li></ul>

Responsible for all aspects of PO placement and delivery assurance within a commodity and directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family.</li><li>
May perform delivery assurance responsibilities, support project management activities, and reviews and maintain KPI's for the team members.</li><li>
Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required and based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.</li><li>

This is a weekend 1st shift position, Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm.
Training for this position will take place during first shift weekdays.
What You Will Do
We have an opportunity for a Material Review Board Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assisting Engineering and Manufacturing to properly disposition parts running through the Material Review Board Process.</li><li>
General organization and maintenance of MRB Cribs</li><li>
Coordinating 502 closures with Engineering Support to Operations</li><li>
Communication of QN material which needs review to Quality and Manufacturing part family owners Coordinating the creation of Rework/Repair Travelers and final approval of them.</li><li>
Final disposition of nonconforming material</li><li>
Follow all EH&amp;S rules and guidelines.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have<ul><li>
HS Diploma or GED</li><li>
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.</li></ul>
Qualifications We Prefer<ul><li>
Skilled in processing of Quality Notifications in Solumina and/or ERP (SAP).</li><li>
Skilled in navigating Solumina to confirm work instruction and routing requirements.</li><li>
Prior quality inspection experience, especially in aerospace or automotive.</li><li>
Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing facility.</li><li>
Quality control or quality assurance experience in an manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Prior experience making decisions on conforming versus nonconforming material.</li></ul>
