The Raw Materials Supplier Quality team is responsible for working closely with the supply base to ensure we deliver high-Quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. As a Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of SQEs that provide support to the Global Supply Chain organization relative to improvement of Suppliers' Quality, as well as providing Quality interface, expertise and support to suppliers and peer organizations.
What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Supplier Quality Engineers that support Structural Casting &amp; Forging Suppliers.</li><li>
Understand and execute key aspects of overseeing and assuring Supplier Quality to achieve best-in-class Supplier Quality, delivery and service.</li><li>
Providing guidance to create and maintain key relationships with Suppliers&rsquo; Quality and Operations Management teams, as well as PW Engineering, Procurement and support organizations.</li><li>
Providing guidance to Collect/Compile data and drive Continuous improvement initiatives in the supplier base in reaction to escapes, and in support of reduced cost and lead-time; develop and impart continuous improvement activities.</li><li>
Providing guidance and coaching to suppliers to find root cause and implement sustainable corrective / preventive action on all escapes and high pain recurring Quality issues.</li><li>
Develop and coordinate Quality issue resolution with PW Engineering and Supplier Engineering on Supplier-designed components.</li><li>
Team with Engineering and Procurement to execute supply base improvement plans that improve quality signature and to ensure customer confidence.</li><li>
Lead Vendor Corrective Action Board (VCAB) reviews with suppliers.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>
Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or Operations Degree or equivalent experience and 10 years prior relevant Program/Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and 7+ years&rsquo; prior relevant Program/Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality experience.</li><li>
Travel up to 30%.</li></ul>
Qualifications We Prefer:<ul><li>
Understanding of investment castings and isothermal forgings.</li><li>
A strong problem-solving mindset with customer focus in mind.</li><li>
Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools, experience in using CORE / Six Sigma tools to make process improvements.</li><li>
An understanding of Aerospace Quality Requirements.</li><li>
Working knowledge/ proficiency in Quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&amp;R, GD&amp;T elements, etc.</li><li>
ASQ (CQE, CQM) certifications a plus.</li><li>
Experience with SAP and other IT Quality systems desired.</li><li>
Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities.</li></ul>

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate&rsquo;s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company&rsquo;s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

Qualifications You Must Have
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field</li><li>
8&ndash;10 years of experience in supply chain analytics, strategic sourcing, procurement analytics, or market intelligence roles</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to independently conduct advanced data analysis and scenario modelling.</li><li>
Strong understanding of commodity-driven supply chains and supplier market economics</li><li>
Ability to work autonomously while influencing cross-functional stakeholders</li><li>
Strong executive communication skills, including data storytelling and strategic framing</li></ul>
Qualifications We Prefer
2+ years experience of supporting strategic sourcing, category management, or long-term supply strategy. Familiarity with cost modeling, total cost of ownership (TCO), and risk-based decision.
