What You Will Do:
Are you a mechanic with a passion for aviation? Do you enjoy company paid travel and opportunities to see other parts of the country? Take off on an exciting new career adventure! This position will work on our 2nd shift, which is Sunday-Wednesday from 3:30pm-1:30am. Training will be conducted on 1st shift for up to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
As the A&amp;P Technician, you will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment</li><li>
You will conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications</li><li>
You will manage technical products, services logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers</li><li>
You will also troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications</li><li>
Up to 25% Travel</li></ul>
Pratt &amp; Whitney in Burlington, VT is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation&rsquo;s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA&rsquo;s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
What You Will Learn:<ul><li>
How to serve as local on-site RTX representative to the customer's organization, managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have:
<ul><li>HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of experience working as an A&amp;P Technician</li><li>
Active A&amp;P License</li></ul>
Qualifications We Prefer:
<ul><li>Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management</li><li>
Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&amp;I, MRP's, aircraft interface</li><li>
Shop/Bench refurbishment experience</li><li>
Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs and return to service of engines, modules and components</li><li>
Airframe experience with Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada (PWC)-powered aircraft</li><li>
Previous customer service experience</li></ul>

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate&rsquo;s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Under direction of leader/supervisor, follow assembly drawings and/or specifications and computer information systems to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules and accessories for new gas turbine engines where tooling and process methods are established. Perform similar duties assisting with engine test operations and performing component and accessory tests as assigned.</li><li>
Use overhaul and repair procedures and specifications to perform the mechanical work to overhaul engines, modules and related components.</li><li>
Obtain parts, check details for conformance to assembly requirements and fit and measure components to assure overall dimensions are within limits specified.</li><li>
Use mechanic&rsquo;s hand tools, holding fixtures, and specialized assembly equipment to build engine sections and perform installation of details and maintain equipment and tooling for assigned areas.</li><li>
Provide related support for test operations and assist with testing under direct supervision and specific test schedules.</li><li>
Perform similar duties to assist with co-producer, customer support or other similar programs, retrofit projects and to accommodate new engine programs and assist with changes in specifications.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or Equivalent &amp; formal training in a specialized field achieving A&amp;P license or equivalent OR 4 years of technical high school including technical post high school certification and 5+ years of heavy automotive experience.</li></ul>
Qualifications We Prefer:<ul><li>
Experience as an aerospace mechanic or A&amp;P mechanic preferred.</li><li>
3 + years avionics mechanic experience.</li></ul>
