This is a 1st Shift position: Monday &ndash; Thursday 5:00 am &ndash; 3:30 pm
Job Summary: As an Aircraft Engine Mechanic, you will support either the Columbus Engine Center (CEC) or the Military Engine Center of Excellence (MECoE). In this role, you will perform turbine engine, engine module, and component maintenance in accordance with approved technical data, published work instructions, and quality standards.
What You Will Do:
<ul><li>Perform disassembly and assembly of engines, engine modules, and components using common hand tools, specialized tooling, and fixtures.</li><li>
Execute all phases of assembly and disassembly in compliance with documented work instructions, including required self-inspections and peer inspections of critical processes.</li><li>
Ensure work is completed in alignment with Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives.</li><li>
Accurately document work performed and ensure adherence to configuration control and quality requirements.</li><li>
Support a team-based environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>
1+ years&rsquo; experience in aviation maintenance or completion of one of the following: 1 year of an A&amp;P program, a site-based high school internship/apprenticeship, or relevant technical training (e.g., ASE certification or military equivalent).</li><li>
Basic understanding of Disassembly, Assembly, and Test (DAT) processes.</li></ul>
Qualifications We Value:<ul><li>
Airframe &amp; Powerplant (A&amp;P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate.</li><li>
2+ years of relevant engine maintenance or overhaul experience.</li><li>
Experience with engine overhaul and repair, including GTF and/or F117, PW2000 platforms.</li><li>
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, or Turbine Engine Test Operations.</li><li>
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or RTX&rsquo;s CORE Operating System.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.</li></ul>

The Raw Materials Supplier Quality team is responsible for working closely with the supply base to ensure we deliver high-Quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. As a Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of SQEs that provide support to the Global Supply Chain organization relative to improvement of Suppliers' Quality, as well as providing Quality interface, expertise and support to suppliers and peer organizations.
What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Supplier Quality Engineers that support Structural Casting &amp; Forging Suppliers.</li><li>
Understand and execute key aspects of overseeing and assuring Supplier Quality to achieve best-in-class Supplier Quality, delivery and service.</li><li>
Providing guidance to create and maintain key relationships with Suppliers&rsquo; Quality and Operations Management teams, as well as PW Engineering, Procurement and support organizations.</li><li>
Providing guidance to Collect/Compile data and drive Continuous improvement initiatives in the supplier base in reaction to escapes, and in support of reduced cost and lead-time; develop and impart continuous improvement activities.</li><li>
Providing guidance and coaching to suppliers to find root cause and implement sustainable corrective / preventive action on all escapes and high pain recurring Quality issues.</li><li>
Develop and coordinate Quality issue resolution with PW Engineering and Supplier Engineering on Supplier-designed components.</li><li>
Team with Engineering and Procurement to execute supply base improvement plans that improve quality signature and to ensure customer confidence.</li><li>
Lead Vendor Corrective Action Board (VCAB) reviews with suppliers.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>
Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or Operations Degree or equivalent experience and 10 years prior relevant Program/Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and 7+ years&rsquo; prior relevant Program/Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality experience.</li><li>
Travel up to 30%.</li></ul>
Qualifications We Prefer:<ul><li>
Understanding of investment castings and isothermal forgings.</li><li>
A strong problem-solving mindset with customer focus in mind.</li><li>
Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools, experience in using CORE / Six Sigma tools to make process improvements.</li><li>
An understanding of Aerospace Quality Requirements.</li><li>
Working knowledge/ proficiency in Quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&amp;R, GD&amp;T elements, etc.</li><li>

Experience with SAP and other IT Quality systems desired.</li><li>
