Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls. Priorities include process improvement, problem resolution and employee training. Lead Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement teams for manufacturing and support processes. Goal oriented, data driven, with a strong sense of urgency.</p><p>

Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Provide process support for EB, PAM, and VAR processes</li><li>
Implement/monitor Statistical Process Control for critical melt processing parameters (i.e. EB gun power, melt rate, pressure, etc&hellip;)</li><li>
Implement/monitor Statistical Process Control for critical part and process parameters</li><li>
Ability to influence, gain commitment, and leverage best practices across all levels of the organization</li><li>
Initiate or support new melt process or engineering technologies</li><li>
Participate in continuous improvement projects to minimize deviant/nonconforming product and optimize throughput. Support or lead continuous improvement initiatives and teams</li><li>
Support or implement Management of Change (MOC) and Manufacturing Process Experiments (MPE) associated with melting</li><li>
Utilize data to drive improvements and implement control plans to sustain those improvements.</li><li>
Assist with customer complaints, audits, and corrective actions, involving investigation of quality or process problems</li><li>
Maintain process documents including but not limited to procedures, forms, etc&hellip;</li><li>
Participate in internal audit programs</li></ul><p><b>
Education &amp; Experience</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (BS) in an engineering related field or technical equivalent</li><li>
On-the-job training will be provided, but position requires a self-motivated individual</li><li>
Familiarity with MS Office is required</li><li>
2 or more years&rsquo; industrial experience preferred</li><li>
Minitab or other statistical software experience is preferred</li><li>
Metals industry experience is a plus</li><li>
Strong background on industry specifications is a plus</li><li>

Position Summary:</b></p><p>
Level One- is an entry level assembly mechanic position requiring significant supervision to perform a variety of entry level assembly tasks. These tasks require basic competencies in determining the right tool for the job, reading technical documents, prints and work instructions, using templates, jigs, and fixtures to execute minor part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, mixing, and using two-part sealants and epoxy, riveting, installing freeze fit bushings, drilling, as well as reaming and counter sinking close tolerance holes. In addition, level one assembly mechanics will use basic handheld measuring tools such as scales, micrometers, and calipers to verify part dimensions. Typically, 0-1 years of experience required with evidence of strong mechanical aptitude.</p><p><b>
Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.</li><li>
Operates manual or automatic assembly machines to assemble, bump, crimp, knurl, slot, insert, stamp, groove cut, etc. or resize or re-work parts to specifications</li><li>
Operates support machines such as arbor, drill press, cutters, rollers etc. as well as various hand tools such as pliers, wrenches</li><li>
Check parts for dimensional accuracy use both touch and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers</li><li>
Provides necessary counts and processes documentation accurately. Maintains production logs</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

Operations Area Manager &ndash; Front End</b></p><p>
PURPOSE:</p><p>
Manage the Front-End Manufacturing activities for the Worcester MA facility. Assure that production variable cost and productivity goals are met or exceeded. Improve on-time delivery to customers to targeted level. Adhere to process control/quality criteria so as to reduce rework and scrap. Manage fixed and variable budgets. Full P&amp;L Responsibility for the Isothermal Forge Shop and mult prep.</p><p>
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p><ul><li>
Coordinate and manage a full complement of production and production support activities.</li><li>
Interface and work with key staff positions: Materials Management, Product Engineering, Quality, Accounting, HR, IT, etc.</li><li>
Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement in the attainment of corporate goals.</li><li>
Responsible for cost control and budget attainment.</li><li>
Meet required customer shipping schedules.</li><li>
Establish working effective relationship with Union leadership.</li><li>

MBA, with B.S./B.A.(engineering discipline preferred) and/or extensive related work experience.</li><li>
