Our work improves mobility and accessibility for individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids, while helping cities, schools, and property owners maintain safer pedestrian infrastructure.Position OverviewPrecision Concrete Cutting is hiring a Risk Assessor / Sidewalk Inspector to perform outdoor field inspections throughout San Gabriel Valley, North Orange County, and South LA Valley.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy active outdoor work, walking routes throughout neighborhoods, and documenting infrastructure conditions using mobile technology.Risk Assessors survey sidewalks to identify trip hazards and collect data used to prepare repair proposals. The job involves walking several miles per day, measuring sidewalk conditions, documenting hazards with a mobile app, and photographing field conditions.If you enjoy working independently outdoors and contributing to projects that improve community safety and accessibility, this may be a great fit.What You&rsquo;ll DoInspect sidewalks and pedestrian pathways for trip hazards and ADA accessibility issuesMeasure sidewalk elevation changes and record defect measurementsUse company mobile apps to collect field data, photos, and location informationDocument hazards and unique site conditions accuratelyUpload inspection data for use in project proposalsTravel to multiple survey locations throughout the dayMaintain professional conduct when interacting with residents, property managers, and the publicWhat You&rsquo;ll NeedAbility to communicate effectively in English for safety and documentation purposesBasic familiarity with smartphone or tablet applicationsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection proceduresAbility to walk for extended periods throughout the workdayAbility to kneel, measure, and perform light physical tasks in the fieldValid California driver&rsquo;s licenseReliable transportation to the daily meeting locationLegal authorization to work in the United StatesApplicants with experience in the following areas often transition well into this role:Field surveyingInfrastructure inspectionConstruction or utilitiesGIS or data collectionInventory auditing or quality controlDelivery or route-based workOutdoor service roles such as dog walking, mail delivery, or field serviceAdditional RequirementsDriving is required for this position. Risk Assessors travel to multiple job sites daily using company vehicles.Applicants must maintain a driving record acceptable to the company&rsquo;s vehicle insurance carrier and safety standards, as driving is an essential function of this role.Due to work performed at schools, government facilities, and military installations, Selected candidates must be able to complete the screening processes required for site access.This may include:<ul><li>Post-offer drug testing</li><li>Background screening conducted after a conditional offer of employment</li><li>Military base access screening (DBIDS) when applicable</li></ul>Access to certain secured facilities is determined by the applicable authority and is not controlled by the company.Why Join Us$20&ndash;$25 per hour starting payAnnual pay increases based on performance and experiencePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
