Company DescriptionAt Precision Fab and Machine we offer a full range of services involving industrial machine work, steel fabrication and precision welding encompassing everything from one-off projects to large scale industrial production.Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support daily operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication shop. This position involves material handling, basic machine operation, and assisting skilled tradesmen with production tasks.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate band saws to cut metal materials to specified dimensions</li><li>Accurately measure materials using tape measures and other tools</li><li>Load and unload materials, equipment, and deliveries</li><li>Safely operate a forklift (or willingness to be trained)</li><li>Assist with shop organization and maintain a clean, safe work environment</li><li>Support fabrication and machining processes as needed</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to read a tape measure accurately</li><li>Prior experience in a fabrication shop or industrial environment preferred</li><li>Forklift experience is a plus</li><li>Basic welding or machining skills are a plus, but not required</li><li>Strong work ethic and reliability</li><li>Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet throughout the shift</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Industrial shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment</li><li>Requires standing, lifting, bending, and physical labor throughout the day</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>PTO and holiday pay</li><li>Company match 401(k)</li><li>Competitive hourly rate</li><li>Health, dental, vision and life insurance</li><li>Overtime opportunities</li><li>Excellent work life balance</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
