We are looking for a skilled surgical assistant to join our collaborative team. The surgical assistant is integral in helping the office run efficiently and providing patients with a positive experience. The right candidate should have working knowledge of surgical procedures &amp; tasks to best anticipate doctor's surgical needs.Responsibilities<ul><li>Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed for exams and surgeries</li><li>Sterilize and disinfect instruments and rooms</li><li>Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry</li><li>Experience with dental implants a plus</li><li>Undertake lab tasks as instructed</li><li>Provide patients with oral hygiene and pre and post-operative care instructions</li><li>Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked</li><li>Take x-rays and 3D Scans</li><li>Inventory</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry</li><li>Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods</li><li>Understanding of health &amp; safety regulations</li><li>Excellent communication and people skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Well-organized and reliable</li></ul>***This is a PART-TIME POSITION due to the OFFICE HOURS below:***Cyclical work schedule:One Week: Sunday through Thursday full time (40-45 hours)Next Week: One to Two Days (Typically Monday and/or Tuesday)This cycle continues Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
