PURPOSE OF POSITION
Produce defined quantity of parts and components according to company and customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. 
More specifically, the employee owner will:<ul><li>
Ensure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.</li><li>
Jig, assemble, and weld parts and components.</li><li>
Operate a wire welder; follow specifications in regards to weld penetrations, appearance, and quantity.</li><li>
Operate various hand tools and machinery to meet expectations on quality, including but not limited to lathe, grinder, and torch.</li><li>
Grind, clean, and/or bevel fit-up of welds where required.</li><li>
Use and understand various paperwork (e.g., schedules, prints, technical specifications, etc.).</li><li>
Request and/or gather raw materials, parts, and components necessary to complete task.</li><li>
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.</li><li>
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance within the work area.</li><li>
Regular, consistent attendance.</li></ul>

One to three months related experience and/or training; or</li><li>
Equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul></div> 
TRAINING &ndash; CERTIFICATIONS &ndash; LICENSES<div><ul><li>
PPI Weld Certification preferred but not required.</li><li>
Continually participate in additional training related to the job.</li></ul></div>

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY<div><ul><li>
The noise level in the work environment is usually LOUD.</li><li>
Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.</li><li>
Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat (non-weather), risk of radiation and vibration.</li><li>
Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.</li><li>
Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection required where posted. Gloves, grinding helmet, welding helmet, welding coat and welding chaps required. Additional PPE may be required depending on the area in which work is being performed.</li></ul></div>

Press components into cans/rolls including but not limited to bearings, seals, and snap rings.</li><li>
Position components including but not limited to cans/rolls, bearings, shafts, seals, and pushnuts before assembling product.</li><li>
Stack components including but not limited to pushnuts and seals.</li><li>
Assemble and ensure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.</li><li>
Report material and/or paperwork errors to supervisor.</li><li>
Collect required data.</li><li>
Use and understand various paperwork, including but not limited to schedules, prints, and tech standards.</li><li>
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance on equipment.</li><li>
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.</li><li>
Regular, consistent attendance.</li></ul></div>
