Job Description 
In this role, you will perform administrative and clerical operations for the Plant including the Maintenance Department. This will include, accounts payable, reviewing invoices, creating purchase orders, routine clerical duties, and furnishing reports. This position is in an industrial setting. You will be required to be &ldquo;on the floor&rdquo; and around equipment on a regular basis.

Some of your Responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Develops, compiles, formats and enters data into the Preventative Maintenance (PM) computer program.</li><li>
Serves as a Buyer in the research of sources, pricing and purchasing of Department parts, supplies and services.</li><li>
Maintains maintenance parts &amp; supplies inventory records and initiates purchasing process when levels go below predetermined minimum levels.</li><li>
Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts and assemblies both interdepartmentally and intradepartmental.</li><li>
Generates Reports and Purchase orders from AS/400 system.</li><li>
Performs varied clerical duties requiring knowledge of general departmental and corporate office practices and procedures.</li><li>
Maintains records, checks data and prepares standard reports.</li><li>
Notifies appropriate personnel when in-house stock reaches order point or when ordered material is past scheduled delivery date.</li><li>
General front office support</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
As the selected candidate you will have a Minimum of a High School diploma and one to three years of experience in a clerical or administrative position at a manufacturing facility.<ul><li>
Typing 45 wpm and good business writing, editing &amp; proofreading skills.</li><li>
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical parts &amp; equipment gained from working in an industrial maintenance department or tool crib.</li><li>
Organization skills and ability to start and complete tasks on a deadline with little supervision.</li><li>
Ability to handle multiple rush items and function while under pressure of production line demands.</li><li>
Ability to interact with all employees, customers, vendors and other contacts in a positive, business-like manner.</li><li>
Regular and on-time attendance.</li></ul>

Job Description 
Are you focused on process quality, continuous improvement, claims management, and training to ensure operations meet or exceed external and internal quality requirements? Together with the Regional General Manager, Vice President &ndash; Manufacturing and Vice President &ndash; Quality &amp; Technical Service you'll develop and execute actionable plan and priorities.
As the selected RQM, you will ensure that the region is:<ul><li>
Adhering to quality control plan, with specific parameters developed pursuant to customer demands</li><li>
Driving compliance with process quality assurance protocols</li><li>
Evaluating &amp; implementing corrective actions</li><li>
Ensuring new technology is successfully implemented &amp; embraced</li><li>
Identifying opportunities to assist customers &amp; provide value-added services</li><li>
Partnering with corporate resource to ensure ISO procedures are being implemented &amp; followed</li></ul>
Additionally, you will be<ul><li>
Actively participating in trials for region; ensuring &quot;critical-to-quality&quot; factors are addressed prior to run</li><li>
Ensuring corrective action effectiveness &amp; assisting plants with identifying quality improvement initiatives</li><li>
Developing &amp; training plant quality team &amp; technical service staff; ensuring standard work is in place for each position; identifying competency gaps &amp; providing training or resources to correct</li><li>
Directing technical service reps - ensuring claims are handled in timely manner, appropriate corrective actions are implemented, and reps are partnering with plants to resolve problems</li><li>
Evaluating &amp; implementing best practices across region</li><li>
Identifying opportunities for kaizen events and leading and/or overseeing effective implementation</li><li>
Identifying systemic problems in region, specifying projects related to those areas and following up to measure progress</li><li>
Reviewing claims set to be denied to ensure research is completed accurately</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
What education, skills &amp; experience will you need to take the regions quality to the next level? 
 
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Metallurgy and/or Material Sciences. 
Master&rsquo;s in Metallurgy and/or Material Sciences Degree preferred. 
7-10 years progressive quality management experience in a coil coating setting and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Blackbelt strongly preferred &ndash; will be required within 24 months of assuming the position. 
Professional demeanor. 
Communicates well with all levels of management. 
Ability to quickly learn new tasks. 
Must be flexible and able to balance priorities. 
Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal/negotiation skills. 
Good organizational skills. 
Must be willing to work in a plant environment, 
Must be able to travel up to 50% with limited notice.
