Job Overview Preferred Industrial Contractors is hiring experienced Pipefitters to join our team. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in heavy industrial construction projects.Duties:<ul><li>Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipe</li><li>Lay out and install piping systems per blueprints and isometric drawings</li><li>Install hangers, supports, valves, and related components</li><li>Fit and align piping for welding and mechanical connections</li><li>Inspect and test systems for leaks and proper alignment</li><li>Read and interpret P&amp;IDs, spool drawings, and field sketches</li><li>Follow all company and site safety procedures</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Minimum 3 years of industrial pipefitting experience</li><li>Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and API standards</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and work safely in industrial environments</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs</li><li>Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces</li><li>Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed</li><li>Must pass required drug/alcohol screening</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $32.00 per hourPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
