 Summary
 
 
 
 The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing direct materials,
 
 
 components, and MRO/indirect supplies to support production schedules, quality
 
 
 standards, and cost targets. This role partners closely with Operations, Planning,
 
 
 Engineering, and Quality to ensure on-time availability of parts while optimizing inventory and working capital. The Buyer manages day-to-day supplier performance, mitigates risk across the supply base, and drives continuous improvement in cost, delivery, and service. Success in this role is measured by material availability (OTIF), PPV/cost savings, inventory turns, and supplier scorecards.
 
 
 
 Core Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Analyze and convert MRP/ERP demand and approved requisitions into purchase
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 orders; maintain accurate dates, quantities, and pricing to meet production
 
 
 requirements.

 Execute sourcing events (RFQ/RFI/RFP), analyze total cost of ownership, and

 negotiate pricing, lead time, and terms for assigned commodities (direct materials
 
 
 and MRO).

 Manage supplier performance&mdash;track OTIF, lead times, quality issues, and

 responsiveness; drive corrective actions and maintain supplier scorecards.

 Collaborate with Production Planning and Operations to resolve shortages,
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 expedite/de-expedite orders, and balance service levels with inventory targets.

 Partner with Engineering and Quality on part qualifications, ECNs, PPAP/FAI needs,

 and alternates; ensure suppliers meet specifications and compliance
 
 
 requirements.

 Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks (capacity constraints, EOL parts,

 single-source exposure, logistics disruptions); develop and maintain dual-source
 
 
 strategies where practical.

 Maintain clean ERP data (lead times, MOQ, pricing, safety stock) and support

 cycle-count/inventory accuracy; monitor and reduce slow-moving/obsolete

 Support annual cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives; track PPV and

 Qualifications &mdash; Experience &amp; Education
 
 
 
 
 Experience:
 
 3&ndash;5 years in a manufacturing purchasing role (buyer, associate buyer, or
 
 
 materials specialist) with hands-on responsibility for direct materials and/or MRO;
 
 
 demonstrated experience with MRP/ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor).
 
 
 
 Education:
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent purchasing experience. APICS/ASCM (CPIM/CSCP) or ISM (CPSM) certifications a plus.
 
 
 Microsoft Office Experience
 
 
 Familiarity with quality tools and manufacturing workflows (BOMs, routings,

Summary of Job
 The Plant Manager will be responsible for improving operational results across all facets of the business by identifying process improvement opportunities, executing data-driven solutions, and fostering a high-performing, lean, and engaged workforce. This is a critical leadership role for a hands-on, results-oriented leader, embedding Lean culture, and delivering measurable business results.
 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Lead the operation, instilling process discipline, performance rigor, and a continuous improvement mindset</li>
<li>Provide strategic and tactical leadership in all aspects of operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, logistics, and planning.</li>
<li>Partner closely with greater Pregis organization collaborating and utilizing resources such as the central business operations group and other available resources to enhance business operations standards.</li>
<li>Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste, improve flow, and increase plant efficiency and responsiveness.</li>

Summary of Job
 
Under the direction of Quality Manager supervision acts as a Subject Matter Expert and champion for Mailing Solutions Quality Standard Operating Procedures and ensures the successful implementation of these procedures within the shift teams. Provides leadership, coaching and constructive feedback to Quality Techs on shift. Supports development and rollout of new Quality SOPs as a result of CAPAs and/or NPD. Works alongside packaging operations with hourly and temporary employees to ensure the production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, while meeting company standards for quality and performance. Adheres to customer specifications and delivery requirements, while working in accordance with Pregis policies and procedures
 
Overview: This position is expected to act as a leader and a resource to the Quality Techs on shift. Will work closely with the Quality Manager to make sure Mailing Solutions Quality processes are implemented, understood and adhered to across shifts. Supports shift Quality Techs and production teams in routine testing/inspection as needed.
 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Cross train shifts on existing quality processes and specifications, ensure consistency and competency across shifts (shift QCs, Leads, Operators)</li>
<li>Support training of new shift QC techs</li>
<li>Support New Product Development and R&D related tests, cross train shifts during rollout of new quality processes and products, ensure consistency and competency across shifts (shift QCs, Leads, Operators)</li>
<li>Support Quality Manager in managing “Control of Non-Conforming Material and Products” Processes (i.e. QC holds, SCARs) by performing the following:</li>
<li>Document quantity, source (line/shift), defect type, and recommended disposition of QC hold pallets</li>
<li>Work with Quality Manager on timely disposition of held skids</li>
<li>Help support the execution and continuation of large rework jobs from shift to shift</li>
<li>Support documentation, organization and labeling of rejected raw materials as part of SCAR process</li>
<li>Audit shift teams (QC Tech, Operators, Packers) to ensure QMS is being followed, appropriate quality checks are being completed. Such as:</li>
<li>Readers being performed at make ready and shift change</li>
<li>½ hour and hourly checks being done correctly</li>
<li>Packer checks being done correctly</li>
<li>Fulfillment checklists being completed</li>
<li>Document control audits (revision control on floor is accurate)</li>
<li>Participation in other audits as required</li>
<li>Responsible for calibration/verification of test equipment used for product release, such as:</li>
<li>Micrometers</li>
<li>Mark-10 Tensile Testers</li>
<li>Work with manager on performance reviews for shift QC techs</li>
<li>Participation in other projects and continuous improvement efforts as needed</li>

Compensation
 
The listed hourly base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual hourly pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The hourly pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package. The hourly pay range for this role is estimated to be $23-$28/hour.
