Summary:We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, hard working and competent candidate to join our team as a Transportation Driver to drive our resident to and from physician appointments and other activities and provide a variety of routine tasks In the maintenance and repair of facility and facility grounds.Roles and Responsibility:<ul><li>Ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors In accordance with Federal, State and company requirements.</li><li>Performs preventive maintenance procedures.</li><li>Maintains equipment necessary to meet facility needs.</li><li>Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal State and company</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Duties and Responsibilities: Assists residents with loading and unloading from facility-approved vehicles.</li><li>Ensures the safe transportation of residents to scheduled medical appointments or other approved activities, resident outings, etc.</li><li>Maintains the interior and exterior of facility vehicles to promote a safe and comfortable transport for the residents and project a positive image in the community.</li><li>Monitors vehicle maintenance logs and delivers vehicle for regularly scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc</li><li>Must be flexible with work time (in the event a resident appointment or activity runs late). Must have training and be able to return demonstrate safe clinical based transfer techniques for: o Ingress Egress of Mobile Patients with Van o Transfer of patients into and out of Wheelchair</li><li>Properly securing WC bound residents into bays in Vans.</li><li>Must be able to lift transfer and mobilize patient weights of up to 70 pounds by self in confined areas inside Van.</li><li>Must be able to make complex decisions involving highly dependent patient base.</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>Education/Experience:High School diploma; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hourLicense/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
