Job Title: Accountant Job Purpose:To support the Finance Manager in overseeing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The Finance Assistant Manager ensures accuracy in financial records, supervises junior finance staff, and contributes to cash flow management and audits while maintaining strong internal controls.Key Responsibilities:Accounting &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Supervise daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation).</li><li>Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.</li><li>Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.</li></ul>Budgeting &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Support in preparation of budgets and forecasts.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis and highlight deviations for corrective action.</li><li>Monitor departmental expenses against approved budgets.</li></ul>Cash Flow &amp; Treasury Support<ul><li>Monitor payments, collections, and petty cash disbursements.</li><li>Assist in managing working capital and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Support Finance Manager in maintaining positive cash flow.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Audit<ul><li>Ensure timely filing of tax returns and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation for audits.</li><li>Enforce internal controls and compliance with company policies.</li></ul>Team Supervision &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Supervise junior finance officers/executives in their daily tasks.</li><li>Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.</li><li>Act as the acting Finance Manager in absence of the Manager.</li></ul>Stakeholder &amp; Management Support<ul><li>Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and approvals.</li><li>Provide accurate financial insights to management.</li><li>Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax consultants as required.</li></ul>Authorities:<ul><li>Approve routine financial transactions within delegated limits.</li><li>Recommend cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Supervise and evaluate performance of finance staff.</li><li>Escalate significant financial issues to Finance Manager/CFO.</li><li>Ensure adherence to company financial policies and controls.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
