As a PRN Physician, you'll provide care to client employees <b>and their dependents ages 2 and older</b> in our Health Centers located in the Northwest Atlanta, Georgia suburbs. The scheduled hours are as needed.</div><p></p><p><b><br>

What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></p><ul><li>
Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients</li><li>
May provide occupational health services (i.e., post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams and Worker&rsquo;s Compensation medical guidance) in some health centers</li><li>
Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards</li><li>
Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educates and advises on medical issues as needed</li><li>
Provides referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resource or specialty</li><li>
Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patients</li><li>
Identifies emergency situations and provides care within legal scope of practice and as defined by Premise Health privileging process</li><li>
Participates in the development of annual health center goals and objectives</li><li>
Maintains medical records using (In some health centers it may be using Electronic Medical Record software)</li><li>
May formulate and administer health programs as needed</li><li>
Provides overall responsibility for the care of patients seen in the health care clinic in the absence of the Medical Leader</li><li>

All state licenses to practice</li><li>
Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice/oversite)</li><li>
State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana-paperless, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri-paperless, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico.) (New York ROPES registration)</li><li>
Current board certificate (ABMS, AMA or AOA)</li><li>
Medical Degree</li><li>
CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer or ACLS-the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include &ldquo;hands on&quot; evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate</li><li>
At least three years of post-residency clinical experience</li><li>
Experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting. (Occupational healthcare experience may apply in some clinics)</li></ul></div></div></div><div></div><div><p><br>

The scheduled hours are <strong>twenty-nine</strong><strong> hours per week. Monday-Friday. Excellent Work/Life Balance</strong></li><li><strong> Healthcare center onsite </strong></li></ul> <br> <p><strong> What You'll Do </strong></p><ul><li> Guide, motivate and provide tools to participants so they may increase physical activity and create lasting behavioral change </li><li> Develop one-on-one exercise prescriptions based on fitness assessment, health and fitness history and participant goals </li><li> Provide a memorable experience and excellent customer service to our participants and client partners </li><li> Assist with the creation and facilitation of fitness based incentive programs, promotional events, wellness activities and recreation offerings </li><li> Provide exercise leadership expertise according to the latest American College of Sports Medicine, Exercise Testing and Prescription guidelines </li><li> Conduct member recruitment activities, assist with member enrollment and lead new member orientations </li><li> Perform basic fitness center administrative duties such as working with and reporting from the membership database system, monitoring member retention program, tracking equipment maintenance and repairs, etc. </li><li> Circulate fitness floor and engage and assist members with their exercise programs </li><li> Provide routine facility monitoring including equipment checks and locker room rounds to ensure member safety </li><li> Teach multiple group exercise classes each week </li><li> May require other duties as assigned </li></ul><p><strong> What You'll Bring </strong></p><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a closely related field is required </li><li> Personal Training certification from nationally recognized, accredited organization (e.g. ACSM, NASM, NSCA etc.) required within 6 months of hire </li><li> Current certification in CPR/AED (hands on program required) and First Aid required </li><li> Group Exercise Primary certification from nationally recognized organization (e.g. AFFA, ACE, IDEA) is preferred </li><li> 1+ years of experience in the fitness industry (corporate fitness preferred) </li><li> Experience in exercise prescription and ability to perform fitness assessments including: resting and exercising blood pressure and heart rate, body composition using skin fold calipers, muscular strength and endurance testing, sub maximal cardiovascular testing </li></ul> <br> <p>Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
