What You&rsquo;ll Do
As our Digital Marketing Manager, you&rsquo;ll take the lead in growing Prep Network&rsquo;s digital subscriber base and driving measurable revenue through smart, strategic marketing. You&rsquo;ll own the lifecycle&mdash;from acquisition to retention&mdash;across all digital channels, using data to optimize every touchpoint and increase customer lifetime value. This role isn&rsquo;t about maintaining the status quo; it&rsquo;s about scaling what works and uncovering what&rsquo;s next. You&rsquo;ll lead cross-functional efforts between marketing, tech, content, and audience &amp; experience teams, ensuring every campaign not only converts but also amplifies our brand voice across sports. From paid campaigns and SEO to email flows and digital launches, you&rsquo;ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution. Prep Network is a sports company that connects high school athletes with college coaches. Through our nine brands, we publish over 4,000 articles each month and actively scout talented athletes across the U.S. We aim to discover and promote promising prospects who aspire to play at the collegiate level.
In addition to our content, Prep Network is the top event operator in the U.S., hosting 200+ tournaments annually. We offer a combination of top-tier competitions and extensive media exposure for attending teams. Our 250+ showcases each year provide a platform for over 10,000+ prospects to compete in front of colleges, scouts, and media outlets.

Core Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead and inspire the Digital Marketing team&mdash;including full-time staff, part-timers, and agencies&mdash;by setting clear expectations, developing talent, and fostering accountability across social, content, and campaign functions.</li><li>
Track, analyze, and optimize digital marketing performance.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, digital, and audience &amp; experience teams to deliver impactful social media campaigns and compelling email marketing.</li><li>
Own growth and audience development for new media initiatives (Ex, Prep Scores)</li><li>
Own the strategy, systems, and budget for Digital marketing (paid, SEO/SEM, email, etc)</li></ul>
Must-Haves in a Candidate<ul><li>
Digital Marketing Expertise &ndash; Minimum of 4 years in a marketing manager role with broad experience across lifecycle marketing, social, SEO/SEM, and digital campaign strategy. Subscription or digital product background strongly preferred.</li><li>
Leadership &amp; Collaboration &ndash; Proven success leading cross-functional teams and aligning with departments such as Content, Tech, and Audience &amp; Experience to execute fast and at a high level.</li><li>
Data-Driven Mindset &ndash; Strong analytical skills with a focus on using campaign data to iterate and improve. Committed to driving measurable ROI across all efforts.</li><li>
Customer Empathy &amp; Brand Insight &ndash; Deep understanding of Prep Network&rsquo;s key audiences&mdash;athletes, parents, and coaches&mdash;and how to craft messaging that resonates across segments.</li><li>
Channel &amp; Segmentation Strategy &ndash; Ability to leverage each channel (email, SEO, paid, social, content) effectively to drive acquisition and retention.</li><li>
Creative Communicator &ndash; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape high-impact messaging across platforms. Bring creative ideas that reflect and elevate each brand&rsquo;s voice.</li></ul>
Nice-to-Haves in a Candidate<ul><li>
CAC Benchmarking Experience &ndash; Familiar with establishing or improving customer acquisition cost (CAC) benchmarks by brand and channel, helping guide smarter investment decisions.</li><li>
AI Search Awareness &ndash; Understands the shifting digital landscape from traditional SEO to AI-driven search tools and how that evolution impacts marketing strategy.</li><li>
Sports Industry Insight &ndash; Brings experience or strong familiarity with youth athletics or sports media, enhancing relevance and brand alignment.</li><li>
Tool Proficiency &ndash; Knowledgeable in platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Asana, and Braze (Or a similar customer engagement platform) with the ability to execute and analyze campaigns efficiently.</li><li>
Subscription Marketing Experience &ndash; Experience managing performance-based marketing efforts for digital or subscription-based products.</li><li>
Educational Background &ndash; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.</li></ul>

Compensation. Salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000. The starting salary will depend on the skills and applicable experience you bring to this role.</li></ul>
