Presbyterian is seeking an <b>LPN</b> to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an <b>Outpatient Clinic</b>. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the EMR.</div><div></div><div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Adheres to the LPN scope of practice by contributing to the assessment of the health status of individuals, families and communities.
</li><li>Deliver direct patient care, including administering treatments as prescribed, assisting nurses and physicians with various procedures and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken and patient responses.</li><li>
Administer prescribed medications, including medications given through established parenteral/intravenous infusions as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and document according to policy.</li><li>
Document and report patient condition, care delivery and post procedure follow up. Assess changes in patient s condition and report to nurse and physician as needed.</li><li>
Incorporates nursing activities that create a compassionate, supportive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff with the aim of promoting comfort and healing</li><li>
Applies Exceptional Patient Experience principles and incorporates into care interactions</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Minimum New graduate or experienced nurse from an accredited practical nursing program</li><li>
Licensed Practical Nurse NM</li><li>
High School Diploma or GED</li><li>
BLS</li></ul>

Our <b>Acute Step Down</b> is hiring an assistant manager for their team. An assistant manager will under the direction of the<b> Nursing</b> Director, works with the Department <b>RN Manager</b> in planning, implementing and coordinating the operational, financial and personnel activities of the designated area(s). Provides clinical and operational leadership for assigned unit(s) which includes hands-on unit presence and direction in facilitating provision of patient care and achieving organizational outcomes.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Qualifications:

Minimum Job Requirements:</div><div><b><br>
Nursing Licensure</b>: Current State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required<br>
<br>
<b>Education</b>: ADN required, BSN preferred.<br>
<br>
<b>Certifications:</b> Specialty Certification in area of practice and/or management preferred.<br>
<br>
<b>Experience</b>: One year experience in clinical area.<br>
<br>
<b>Skills:</b> Requires detailed knowledge of nursing, standards based practice, &amp; shared governance, in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done, this level includes interpretation of data. Must have an understanding of human resource issues, operational budget, and financial resources. Ability to determine appropriate courses of action in more complex situations that may not be addressed by existing policies, procedures or protocols. Decisions include such matters as changes in staffing levels, order in which work is done, and application of established procedures.</div><div></div><div><br>
