This position will support Prescott's, Inc.
As a Territory Service and Sales Manager at Prescott's, Inc, you will play a key role in supporting healthcare facilities in your assigned territory. This hybrid role blends technical service delivery with strategic account growth and capital sales, where you will serve as both a technical expert and a trusted advisor, helping healthcare customers achieve operational up time while identifying new opportunities for repair services, equipment sales, equipment acquisition, refurbishment sales, and long-term service contracts.
This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on account management, territory development, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and selling surgical microscopes and related equipment. You will work directly with hospitals and clinics to ensure their systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and OEM standards.
This position is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background - particularly in biomedical, mechanical, or engineering fields - who enjoy working with tools, solving problems onsite, and building trusted relationships with customers. While sales experience is helpful, it is not required; we provide full training to help you develop the customer-facing and commercial skills needed to grow within the role.
This role provides a base salary along with unlimited commission opportunities. Our commission structure is designed to reward you for the number of microscope sales, service contracts and repairs you complete; the more you accomplish, the higher your earnings. The total potential earnings may vary between $80,000 and $150,000+.
The location for this position will be required to work in the Kansas City, MO and Western Missouri region.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Inspect and assess medical equipment to identify service needs, diagnose operational issues, and recommend appropriate repair or maintenance solutions</li><li>
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections on surgical microscopes and related equipment in accordance with OEM and company standards</li><li>
Drive service-based growth by expanding service contracts, generating leads, and converting prospects into long-term service clients within the assigned territory</li><li>
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders - surgeons, physicians and hospital administrators - by delivering high-quality service and support</li><li>
Educate healthcare professionals on the value and reliability of Prescott's repair, refurbishment, and maintenance services, ensuring they receive responsive and personalized solutions</li><li>
Travel to customer sites to perform hands-on service work, attend service-focused meetings, and conduct proactive outreach to identify service opportunities
</li><li>Earn commissions through the sale of refurbished microscopes, parts, accessories, and long-term service agreements that enhance client operations and minimize downtime</li><li>
Respond promptly to multiple weekly service calls, prioritizing urgent repair needs and delivering fast, effective resolutions to keep clinical operations running smoothly</li><li>
Ensure all service activities align with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain safety, compliance, and service excellence</li><li>
Represent Prescott's at industry conferences and trade shows by showcasing our service capabilities, engaging with new clients, and strengthening brand awareness</li></ul> 

Requirements 
<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED required</li><li>
1-2 years of experience demonstrating mechanical and/or technical aptitude, preferably with practical experience in troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining complex equipment</li><li>
Possess the drive to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction</li><li>
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation</li><li>
Ability to sell service agreements, parts, and refurbished equipment through value-based selling techniques</li><li>
Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and propose tailored solutions</li><li>
Excellent relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals including surgeons and hospital administrators</li><li>
Ability to learn and manage the full sales cycle&mdash;from prospecting and lead generation to closing and post-sale follow-up</li><li>
Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic, service-driven environment</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability in the field</li><li>
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently</li><li>
Commitment to providing exceptional service and fostering long-term client relationships</li><li>
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (typically 60&ndash;80% travel)</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Experience working with medical or industrial equipment preferred</li><li>
Experience with CRM systems (NetSuite) and field service software a plus</li></ul>
