 Qualifications:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

 Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in back-end development with a focus on Java/Kotlin.

 Experience with blockchain is plus
 </li>

 Technical Skills:

 Proficient in Java and relevant frameworks (Spring).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

 We are looking for a growth-oriented Business Analyst to join the team at Presight! This role will focus on analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization

 Key Responsibilities

 Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
 </li>
 <li>
 Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with stakeholders across business units develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
 </li>
 <li>
 Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on energy &amp; utility pre-sales and delivery, ensuring sector-specific requirements are accurately captured and translated into technical solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand electricity and water demand, generation, transmission, and distribution mechanism and process of value realization
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute domain expertise to the design and validation of demos, prototypes and use cases
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the evaluation of compliance requirements, efficiency requirements, and sustainability requirements specific to Abu Dhabi&rsquo;s power and water sector, covering regulator and operator in the ecosystem
 </li>
 <li>
 Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.

 Five or more years of experience in analytics and systems development

 Proven analytical abilities
 </li>

 Experience in generating process documentation and reports

 Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio

 Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid background in power systems planning or operations, with hands-on experience in utilities or energy sector projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in interpreting sector data sets (e.g., load forecasts, generation dispatch, water production and power flows) and translating them into actionable requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to manage projects and user testing
 </li>
 <li>
 CBAP certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Kibana etc
 </li>
 <li>
 High proficiency in technical writing
 </li>
 <li>
 Working experience in utility / energy companies or Master&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering, energy systems, and related discipline
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with industry-standard tools for power system analysis and planning (e.g., PSS&reg;E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or equivalent)
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE energy-water regulatory frameworks, visions and programs, and Net Zero 2050 initiatives
