SummaryManages and coordinates the legal affairs pertaining to company&rsquo;s subsidiaries in the region including but not limited to labor issues, implementation of corporate policies, and export and import regulations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Provides legal counsel on the international organization structure and the creation of new offices and stores, foreign acquisitions, divestitures, and all cross-border financing transactions.</li><li>Prepares and reviews contracts to ensure compliance with international laws for all aspects of the company&rsquo;s operations.</li><li>Leads negotiations of legal contracts regarding all international operations.</li><li>Provides leadership and direction with regard to engaging international law firms.</li><li>Supervises any international litigation matters.</li><li>Supervises all trademark license arrangements offshore.</li><li>Ensures compliance with legal, contractual, and risk management policies to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risk, and optimize value of contracts.</li><li>Recommends alternative actions as required to conform with corporate policies and strategies.</li><li>Coordinates with and oversees the work of outside counsel.</li><li>Provides information and advice on international labor and employment law issues.</li><li>Oversees compliance with applicable statues and regulations, reviews pertinent laws and regulations, and provides legal advice to all company departments and staff.</li><li>Possesses and maintains thorough, current knowledge of international laws.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice law in the state.</li><li>Two to four years related experience or equivalent;
