We are seeking a highly organized HR Generalist &amp; Executive Assistant to lead key HR functions while providing direct support to the President of the company. This is a part-time, in-office position consisting of 20&ndash;29 hours per week.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Human Resources Coordination<ul><li>Drive full-cycle recruitment activities including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.</li><li>Support new hire onboarding including orientation and onboarding documentation collection.</li><li>Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and confidential personnel files.</li><li>Coordinate benefits administration including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee inquiries.</li><li>Administer and coordinate payroll processing, including verifying employee data, ensuring accuracy of wage and deduction information, and partnering with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution.</li><li>Track employee attendance and PTO balances.</li><li>Provide first-level support for employee relations matters, responding to employee questions regarding policies, workplace concerns, and HR processes.</li><li>Administer employee leave programs including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), medical leave, personal leave, and other applicable leave policies.</li><li>Assist leadership with employee relations matters including documentation, investigations support, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.</li><li>Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures across all employees.</li><li>Support the company&rsquo;s performance management process by tracking review deadlines, coordinating evaluation documentation, and maintaining employee performance records.</li><li>Coordinate the employee termination process, including preparing documentation, ensuring final payroll processing, and maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations.</li><li>Plan and coordinate employee events and HR initiatives such as recognition programs, employee appreciation activities, wellness initiatives, and company celebrations.</li><li>Support HR reporting and compliance documentation.</li><li>Exhibitschedule flexibility, including the ability to periodically support night shift employees.</li></ul>Executive Assistant Support<ul><li>Manage the President&rsquo;s calendar, meeting scheduling, and handle executive correspondence.</li><li>Prepare reports, presentations, and key documents.</li><li>Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense tracking.</li><li>Assist with personal appointments, travel, and errands for the President.</li><li>Maintain confidential files and documents.</li><li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the office space, ensuring it meets the standards of the startup culture.</li><li>Manage the performance of general office organization, data entry, filing and supply tracking.</li><li>Take on special projects as needed, with the opportunity to evolve into a broader operational role.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>3-5 years of experience in HR administration preferred. Experience in a manufacturing is a plus.</li><li>SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities, including scheduling, logistics, and event management.</li><li>High level of attention to detail, accountability, and work ethic.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for HR tracking and reporting and PowerPoint for presentations.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.</li><li>High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.</li><li>Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving and flexible work environment.</li></ul>WHY JOIN US?<ul><li>Flexible part-time schedule during core business hours.</li><li>Opportunity to play a meaningful HR and operational role in a growing company while working directly with executive leadership.</li><li>Collaborative, supportive, and entrepreneurial work environment.</li></ul>Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Human Resources: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
