Our mission is to provide children with the tools they need to succeed in reading and beyond, all while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and reliable tutor to join our team teaching in-home lessons for an 18 year old in Eastvale, CA 92880Ideal Candidate:<ul><li>Ready to be trained to implement our multisensory reading program</li><li>Experience working with school-age students and a passion for teaching</li><li>Ability to create and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment</li><li>Strong rapport-building skills with students</li><li>Comfortable using electronic devices, such as a laptop, for lessons</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with an ability to motivate students</li><li>Able to commute to the student's location in Eastvale, CA 92880</li><li>Committed to establishing and maintaining a long-term professional tutoring relationship with the student</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide 1:1 individualized tutoring sessions focused on enhancing students' reading and literacy skills</li><li>Follow scripted lesson plans tailored to each student&rsquo;s needs, covering phonics, spelling, fluency, comprehension, and writing</li><li>Use PRIDE's learning technologies and resources to enhance instruction</li><li>Manage session time effectively, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment</li><li>Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including those with special education requirements</li><li>Must be proactive in maintaining prompt and consistent communication with PRIDE staff to discuss student progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to the tutoring plan</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience as an instructional assistant, ABA therapist, paraprofessional, teacher, substitute teacher, graduate student in education, or speech therapist assistant is a plus</li><li>Must have access to an electronic device (such as a laptop) for conducting lessons</li></ul>How to Apply:<ul><li>Send your resume and cover letter, including your relevant experience and education either through Indeed.com or by direct email to: HR@pridelearningcenter.com</li><li>Include your availability to tutor (days and times)</li></ul>Why Join Us?
