OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team at Prim Roses Global Academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering a love of language and literature among students.In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, nurture students&rsquo; language skills, and provide a supportive learning environment that encourages academic growth, confidence, and self-expression. This position includes teaching general English, grammar, phonics, creative writing, and public speaking.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging English lessons covering phonics, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills</li><li>Support students in developing writing, creative expression, and public speaking skills</li><li>Conduct trial/demo classes to showcase the value of our programs to potential students.</li><li>Provide personalized academic support, tailoring lessons to student needs.</li><li>Collaborate with the academic team to enhance lesson plans and teaching materials.</li><li>Prepare and share lesson plans, worksheets, and digital resources.</li><li>Job Responsibilities</li><li>Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement</li><li>Maintain a supportive and interactive classroom atmosphere</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the academy&rsquo;s educational programsQualifications</li></ul><ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in English, Education, or a related field; TESOL or TEFL certification is preferred</li><li>TESL certification is a plus</li><li>Proven experience teaching English as a second language or in an academic setting is desirable</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple classes effectively</li><li>Ability to create engaging lesson plans catering to diverse learning styles</li><li>Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward student success</li><li>Passion for education and fostering student growth</li><li>Strong digital literacy &ndash; comfortable with Google Meet/Zoom, MS Office, and online teaching tools.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Grades 1&ndash;8 (online experience preferred).</li><li>Ability to teach both online and in-person classes</li><li>Experience guiding students in writing, spelling, and creative skills for contests (essay, short story, poetry, Spelling Bee) is a plus</li><li>Previous online teaching experience preferred</li></ul>Note: Must be available to work during US/Canada hours and on weekends.Duties<ul><li>Teach up to 3 students at a time, adapting lessons to different learning levels</li><li>Complete post-lesson notes and daily student communication updates</li><li>Create interactive and fun learning experiences that motivate students</li><li>Help students build confidence, self-esteem, and communication skills</li><li>Participate in ongoing training, feedback sessions, and professional development opportunities</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Flexible working hours (weekdays &amp; weekends)</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students&rsquo; academic success</li><li>Hands-on development of your teaching skills and growth opportunities</li></ul>The rewards of helping children overcome academic hurdles and realize their inner potential can be very fulfilling.
