We are a well-established, busy Internal Medicine practice looking for a full-time Medical Assistant who is friendly, organized, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care. What You'll Do</b></h2><ul><li>
Welcome and room patients while creating a positive patient experience</li><li>
Obtain vital signs and document medical histories</li><li>
Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed</li><li>
Perform point-of-care testing (per state regulations)</li><li>
Process prescription refill requests and prior authorizations</li><li>
Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure infection control standards are met</li><li>
Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

Requirements:<p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
What We're Looking For</b></h2><ul><li>
Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experienced candidates are encouraged to apply</li><li>
Previous experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care preferred</li><li>
Experience with electronic medical records (Athenahealth experience is a plus)</li><li>
Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities</li><li>
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting</li><li>
A positive attitude and a team-first mindset</li></ul></div>
