Your enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams will drive your success in this energetic environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients by gathering financial information and explaining mortgage options aligned with their needs</li><li>Support the loan origination process by preparing and reviewing loan applications and supporting documentation</li><li>Collaborate with underwriters to ensure loan packages meet FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and other regulatory standards such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations</li><li>Use financial software like Quicken or similar tools to input data, track loan progress, and maintain accurate records</li><li>Conduct credit analysis, basic math calculations, and review escrow accounts to assess borrower eligibility</li><li>Participate in negotiations with clients to clarify terms, address concerns, and promote sales opportunities</li><li>Maintain compliance with mortgage servicing protocols, contracts, and banking regulations throughout the loan process</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience or exposure to financial sales, customer service, or banking environments is preferred but not required</li><li>Familiarity with mortgage-related processes such as loan processing, underwriting, or loan officer experience is a plus</li><li>Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency are necessary for accurate data entry and calculations</li><li>Knowledge of accounting software, financial software like Quicken, or mortgage-specific platforms will be advantageous</li><li>Strong communication skills for effective negotiation and client interaction are essential</li><li>Understanding of Fair Housing laws, TILA regulations, and mortgage servicing standards will support your success in this role</li></ul>This position is designed to empower motivated individuals eager to develop a rewarding career in mortgage lending.
