Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and submit withholding tax, VAT, and corporate income tax returns across multiple business units.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulations set by the General Tax Authority and the Qatar Financial Centre.</li><li>Prepare monthly withholding tax reports and ensure timely submission and payment to the tax authorities.</li><li>Manage commercial service and construction contract reporting and ensure submission to the relevant authorities.</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities for the preparation and submission of annual tax returns.</li><li>Maintain and update the company&rsquo;s tax database, records, and documentation.</li><li>Advise management on the impact of tax liabilities, corporate strategies, and regulatory changes.</li><li>Liaise with QFC entities regarding tax filings and compliance matters.</li><li>Address tax queries, appeals, and assist in minimising tax liabilities.</li><li>Perform ad-hoc finance duties including KYC documentation, bank communications, and vendor payment uploads when required.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 4 years&rsquo; proven experience as a Tax Accountant or consultant in Qatar.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Qatar tax regulations and compliance requirements.</li><li>Experience working with GTA, QFC, and external auditors.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and accounting systems.</li><li>Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.</li><li>Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Strong knowledge of Qatar tax regulations and compliance requirements?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Tax Accountant or consultant in Qatar: 4 years (Preferred)</li><li>GTA, QFC, and external auditors: 4 years (Preferred)</li></ul>

Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead and manage complex construction projects within Qatar. The successful candidate will assume full technical and contractual responsibility for assigned projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved budgets, programme schedules, QHSE standards and QCS 2014 requirements.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assume complete ownership of structural works in accordance with contractual obligations and approved budgets.</li><li>Plan, organise, schedule and control construction activities to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.</li><li>Coordinate effectively with the General Manager, Contract Manager, Site Engineers, subcontractors, consultants and relevant Authorities.</li><li>Prepare and manage project implementation schedules, risk registers, financial forecasts and detailed progress reports.</li><li>Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submissions and inspection documentation.</li><li>Lead procurement processes, contract administration and change control procedures.</li><li>Oversee MEP coordination, testing, commissioning and final approvals with Authorities.</li><li>Monitor health and safety compliance and ensure adherence to all applicable standards and regulations.</li><li>Attend and lead project meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.</li></ul>Qualifications and Certifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.</li><li>Chartered status through a recognised professional institution (preferred).</li><li>MMUP Grade A certification (mandatory).</li><li>PMP certification (preferred).</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 15 years&rsquo; experience within the construction industry.</li><li>At least 7 years in a Project Management capacity.</li><li>Minimum 10 years&rsquo; construction experience within Qatar (mandatory)</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of international construction practices and standards.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
