Senior QHSSE Officer

Position: Housekeeping SupervisorThe Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of guest rooms and public areas. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining high standards of hygiene, coordinating with other departments, and delivering exceptional guest service.Key Responsibilities1. Operational Supervision<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Allocate room assignments and manage staff schedules efficiently.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.</li><li>Ensure timely room readiness for guest arrivals and departures.</li></ul>2. Health, Safety &amp; Hygiene<ul><li>Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene, sanitation, and safety policies.</li><li>Monitor proper use of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Report hazards, damages, or maintenance requirements immediately.</li><li>Ensure adherence to Civil Defense regulations for Fire &amp; Life Safety.</li></ul>5. Inventory &amp; Linen Management<ul><li>Maintain control over housekeeping supplies, cleaning chemicals, and equipment.</li><li>Keep accurate records of linen and uniforms.</li><li>Report shortages, damages, or losses promptly.</li></ul>6. Coordination &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Collaborate with Engineering/Maintenance for repairs and follow-up tasks.</li><li>Prepare daily reports on room status, staff productivity, and special assignments.</li><li>Support periodic audits and inspections, including internal, Tourism, and Civil Defense checks.</li><li>Perform additional tasks as required to meet business objectives.</li></ul>Qualifications, Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Certificate or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 4&ndash;5 years of proven experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.</li><li>Languages: English (required), Hindi (required), Arabic (advantageous).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>Housekeeping Role: 5 years (Preferred)</li><li>Housekeeping Senior Role: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>
