<div>The non-exempt job classification is covered under The McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act 
(SCA) and the contract's collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Service employees are compensated
 
per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits that are set by the U.S. Department of Labor
 
(DOL) Wage and Hour Division's WDs 29 CFR Part 541 and 29 CFR 4.163(f), unless otherwise modified
 
by a CBA between labor and management.
Job Summary 
Responsible for wide variety of job responsibilities in all facets of the distribution center which
 
include shipping, receiving, storing, packaging, issuing, and processing of both non-hazardous
 
material and hazardous material (HAZMAT) commodities. Provides leadership and direction to Stock
 
Clerks in the functional work areas.
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Understand and execute various aspects of storage management functions as assigned:<ul><li>
Receiving Functions (Receiving &amp; Induction) - Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by
 
comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage
 
receipts, or other records.</li><li>
Checking for damaged goods; insuring goods are appropriately identified for routing within the
 
facility, preparing and keeping records of goods received. Ensuring correct System induction
 
utilizing WMS IAW established SOPs. Entering and Updating correct information to include Global
 
Weight and cube for each item at time of receiving.</li><li>
Warehouse (Stow and Storage) - Stow Receipts inappropriate storage areas and locations. Ensure
 
stock material is accurate and stored properly. Ensure material is properly packed and preserved
 
and ready for issue. Comprehend and understand the facility storage plan as outlined by management
 
and SOPs.</li><li>
Requisition Processing - Pick and Pack Customer requisitions/orders as generated by warehouse
 
management system. Verifying picks and packs are accurate as compared to requisition documentation
 
(NSN, quantity, and Condition Code).</li><li>
Transportation Preparation - Prepare and complete outbound process of requisitions/transshipments
 
for transportation to include physical conformance of packaging, quantity, correct NSN, and proper
 
staging Transportation / Shipping 
work areas. Ordering and filling SEAVANS</li><li>
Additional responsibilities include but not limited to completing bills of lading, customs forms,
 
manifests and all other required shipping forms and paperwork, in accordance with the Defense
 
Transportation Regulations (DTR).</li><li>
Generate (PPP&amp;M) work order, execute packaging and labeling requirements to specifications and
 
record all work performed IAW DLA SOPs and DLA process manuals.</li></ul></li><li>
Ability to use MHE and other equipment required to move and stage materiel</li><li>
Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned
 
functional area/process</li><li>
Understand and use the Government provided Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other
 
Government Data Systems to perform the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS)</li><li>
Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard
 
Operating Procedures (SOPs), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards, etc.</li><li>
Understand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APL's) associated with assigned functional work
 
areas/process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals</li><li>
Adhere to government, contract, and company policies and procedures.</li><li>
Respond promptly to the Compliance Team (Inventory, Customer Service, and Quality Control)
 
regarding any system discrepancies that cannot be resolved</li><li>
Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information.</li><li>
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers, site management and CGA
 
regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center</li><li>
Maintain a safe and secure work environment</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract
 
Compliance Plan, and workload requirements, etc. 
Adhere to PTi quality, safety, and environmental standards</li></ul>
Working Conditions and Physical Demands<ul><li>
May be required to handle equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds individually and
 
occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance</li><li>
Able to exert moderate physical effort in the loading, unloading, and arranging of
 
equipment/supplies as applicable to position.</li><li>
Ability to work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments, and occasionally be
 
exposed to hot, cold, damp, and drafty weather conditions while handling equipment/supplies.</li><li>
Able to perform work on hard or uneven surfaces.</li></ul>
Qualifications Experience:<ul><li>
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>
Knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods,
 
manuals, or other established guidelines</li><li>
Skilled in planning, controlling, executing, multi-tasking and being responsible for the
 
successful completion of work requirements</li></ul> 
Skills:<ul><li>
Ability to effectively read and write in English, comprehend written instructions, perform
 
common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively</li><li>
Knowledgeable in all Government and Commercial Traffic Management functions and processes, to
 
include international shipping requirements, laws, and procedures</li></ul>
Certificate, License, Registration, etc.:<ul><li>
Possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance applicable to the position and/or
 
military Common Access Card (CAC) within 30 days if required</li><li>
Successful completion of WMS training, OSHA compliance, and DLA SOP training, Defense
 
Transportation Regulation (DTR) Part II, Cargo Movement Training, Hazardous Material Storage, and
 
DLAD 5025.30, DLA One Book, Hazardous Material Training for Packaging and Transportation Personnel
 
Process Guidance</li><li>
Completion of company mandated trainings applicable to position</li><li>
Valid Driver's License</li><li>
Forklift license</li></ul>
Education<ul><li>
Minimum high school diploma or GED</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Military or DLA Distribution experience</li><li>
Training and experience processing HAZMAT</li><li>
Current SECRET Clearance</li></ul>
