<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">About the Role
</h1>Key responsibilities: Vibration Analyst &ndash; ISO Category II
<ul><li>Perform routine vibration data collection on rotating equipment using portable analyzers and/or online monitoring systems
</li><li>Analyze vibration spectra, waveforms, and trends to diagnose faults such as: Imbalance, Misalignment, Bearing defects, Mechanical looseness, Resonance issues
</li><li>Generate clear and actionable reports with recommendations for corrective actions
</li><li>Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to schedule repairs based on condition-based findings
</li><li>Maintain and optimize predictive maintenance (PdM) routes and asset database
</li><li>Assist with root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on critical equipment
</li><li>Ensure proper setup and use of vibration tools and equipment
</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Preferred Qualifications
</h2><ul><li>Experience in industrial manufacturing (corn milling, refining, chemical, or heavy industry preferred)
</li><li>Thermography (Level I or II)
</li><li>Ultrasound (Level I or II)
</li><li>Lubrication analysis
</li><li>Experience with laser alignment and field balancing
</li><li>CMMS experience (SAP, Maximo, etc.)

Develops findings, draws conclusions and makes recommendations. Prepares engineering reports, cost estimates and process transmittals.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Contributes to the design of moderately complex engineering projects or handles parts of a major project.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Contributes ideas for safer, less expensive or new techniques whether or not situation is related to a specific project.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Complete assigned tasks with guidance from mentor engineering within time and budget constraints.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Maintains technical skill and knowledge at state-of-the-art level.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Works with other engineers and production personnel at other plants, as well as their home location. Contacts or visits other manufacturing facilities as necessary.
