The Position
Primoris Power Delivery is seeking a Training Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Denton, TX area. They will work closely with Operations, Safety, Human Resources, Customers, sub-contractors, fleet, and other various organizations to ensure clear and precise communication and adhere to all policies, safety rules, and work requirements for this position. Ensure that company employees adhere to all safety practices, policies, and code of conduct in a professional manner. Ensure all equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is in excellent working condition and inspect as required by Primoris Service Corporation (PSC) requirements.

This person will contribute to all training content development related to operational needs. Organize, schedule, and facilitate training for New Hire Orientation (NHO), annual or compliance training for existing employees, customer or job-specific training requirements, implementation of new training initiatives, and/or changes to current training processes or procedures.

This role will be hybrid in the Denton, TX area.

As a Training Specialist for PSC, the incumbent will administer:
<ul>
<li>Production and distribution of training or classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.</li>
<li>Maintain training rosters and/or records for all training classes or learning activities.</li>
</ul>
Assist in multiple training events in a corporate or community-based setting utilizing traditional or modern job training.

Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>4 years minimum in the following disciplines: Substation, Transmission, Underground or Overhead Distribution.</li>
<li>Able to work in a team environment and assist where needed across the Utility Segment Training organization.</li>
<li>Willing to travel to multiple locations to facilitate training as needed.</li>
<li>Bilingual English and Spanish (both spoken and written)</li>
<li>Problem solving skills.</li>
<li>Must be able to operate or possess the ability to learn heavy equipment such as Buckets, Digger Derricks, Back Yard Machines, Forklifts, and Skylifts.</li>
<li>Must meet all requirements for obtaining OSHA 500 certification.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.</li>
<li>This job operates in a professional setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Normal manual dexterity is required.</li>
<li>Normal speaking and hearing abilities to interact with others in an office environment, over telephone or other video conferencing platform.</li>
<li>The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; and reach with hands and arms and continuously repeat the same hand, arm finger motion many times as in typing.</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Able to lift and carry 75 pounds.</li>
<li>Must be able to climb wooden structures or possess the ability to learn.</li>
<li>Able to walk or work on different types of terrain and/or construction sites.</li>
<li>Able to work in all types of weather conditions and loud noises.</li>
<li>Able to work extended hours outside of normal work hours.</li>
</ul>
Other Requirements
<ul>
<li>Must be able to lead by example and adhere to the company&rsquo;s safety handbook, policies and procedures, and Code of Conduct.</li>
<li>Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.</li>
<li>Must always wear the appropriate PPE when performing task and on jobsite.</li>
<li>Requires a current valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li>
<li>Commercial Driver&rsquo;s license preferred.</li>
<li>Inspect PPE, equipment, tools on a regular basis to ensure compliance with company requirements and OSHA.</li>
</ul>
