RESPONSIBILITIES</h1><div><ul><li>
Oversee charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable recovery.</li><li>
Perform and oversee daily billing activities, including auditing claims for accuracy and compliance.</li><li>
Monitor aging reports and drive reduction in outstanding A/R and denial rates.</li><li>
Ensure accurate use of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding in a physician medical practice setting.</li><li>
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to resolve documentation and coding discrepancies.</li><li>
Support high transaction volume typical of a physician specialty practice.</li><li>
Work closely with other departments to streamline procedures that will help ensure correct billing to patients and payers in a timely manner and improve the department's performance and service.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and directives from regulatory agencies and payers.</li><li>
Follow and monitor compliance with PHS policies and standards.</li><li>
Monitor and report on key performance indicators Including payer mix, A/R, collection rates, adjustments, bad debt write off, estimated collections, appeal success rates, and other requested parameters.</li><li>
Maintains extensive knowledge of revenue cycle and regulatory requirements associated with governmental, managed care, and commercial payers.</li><li>
Monitor A/R effectively and ensure aging categories are within established goals and national benchmarks.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and payor-specific billing requirements.</li><li>
Establish regularly scheduled meetings with applicable RCM staff to discuss strategies and ensure everyone is educated on the direction of the department.</li><li>
Establish clear performance expectations with team members and maintain a culture of accountability.</li><li>

High School Diploma</li><li>
5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting</li><li>
Expertise in healthcare billing and collections, including ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding knowledge, especially E&amp;M coding and requirements.</li><li>
Thorough knowledge of patient financial services processes and standards related to billing, collections, and cash posting. General knowledge of patient registration, finance, and data processing.</li><li>
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to patient accounting, including a solid understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes.</li><li>
Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, including other department managers, staff, physicians, patients, and the public.</li><li>

Position Summary</b></p><p>
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will deliver high-quality, patient-centered pain management services across skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term acute care hospitals (LTACs), and clinic locations. This role includes routine patient rounding in post-acute settings, providing provider coverage during PTO/leave, and performing specialized &ldquo;Greenlight&rdquo; visits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization of patient care plans before procedures or medication coordination.</p><p>
The APP will collaborate closely with physicians, clinical staff, facility teams, and administrative teams to ensure timely, compassionate, and compliant delivery of pain management services.</p><p><b>
