About the RoleWe&rsquo;re seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-minded HR Generalist to ensure every new hire has a smooth introduction to our organization. This role combines onboarding coordination, HR support, and compliance oversight &mdash; ensuring all documentation, processes, and employee records meet company standards and government regulations.You&rsquo;ll play a key part in shaping the employee experience while protecting the organization through accurate recordkeeping and policy adherence.Key Responsibilities:Onboarding &amp; Employee Experience<ul><li>Manage the entire new hire onboarding process &mdash; from offer acceptance to the completion of the first 90 days.</li><li>Prepare and distribute offer letters, onboarding packets, and employment agreements.</li><li>Coordinate orientation schedules and ensure equipment, credentials, and system access are ready before start dates.</li><li>Conduct new hire orientations covering company culture, policies, benefits, and workplace expectations.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.</li><li>Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT to streamline the new hire setup process and resolve onboarding issues quickly.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Ensure all onboarding processes comply with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., I-9 verification, E-Verify, W-4, state-specific forms).</li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policy and data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR if applicable).</li><li>Monitor completion of required compliance trainings, certifications, and policy acknowledgments</li><li>Stay up to date with changes in employment legislation, ensuring internal policies and onboarding documentation reflect current requirements.</li><li>Support audits and internal reviews by maintaining organized and complete onboarding and personnel records.</li><li>Verify that background checks, employment eligibility, and credential verifications are properly completed and documented.</li><li>Partner with HR leadership to standardize and enhance compliance procedures across the employee lifecycle.</li></ul>HR Operations &amp; Process Improvement<ul><li>Assist in updating onboarding materials, training documents, and compliance checklists.</li><li>Track onboarding metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.</li><li>Support HR team members with employee data updates, policy communication, and other HR administrative functions.</li><li>Contribute to creating a compliant, consistent, and inclusive onboarding experience across all departments.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or HR compliance.</li><li>Strong understanding of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.</li><li>Exceptional organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Paycor, BambooHR, Paycom, etc.).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.</li><li>Experience in a multi-state or regulated industry environment.</li><li>Background in supporting HR audits or compliance initiatives.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Compliance management: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Human resources: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
