You will provide respiratory care for adult patients, with occasional pediatric visits, managing therapies such as:
 
<ul>
<li>Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)</li>
<li>Oxygen Therapy and Oxygen Conserving Device Evaluations</li>
<li>PAP Therapy</li>
<li>Cough Assist</li>
<li>Airway Clearance Therapies</li>
<li>Other high acuity Respiratory Therapy Equipment Therapies</li>
</ul>
You will work and help patients manage how to live with conditions such:
 
<ul>
<li>Restrictive Thoracic Disorders</li>
<li>COPD</li>
<li>ALS /Neuromuscular Disease</li>
<li>Hypoventilation Syndrome</li>
<li>Pediatric Respiratory Disorders</li>
<li>Other complex respiratory conditions</li>
</ul>
Your responsibilities will include: 
<ul>
<li>Educating patients and caregivers on respiratory equipment and disease management.</li>
<li>Performing in-home equipment setups, follow-up visits, and clinical assessments.</li>
<li>Monitoring patient progress and communicating with physicians and the healthcare team.</li>
<li>Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.</li>
<li>Helping patients remain safe at home while reducing avoidable hospitalizations.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications
 
Required
 
<ul>
<li>Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy</li>
<li>Current Illinois Respiratory Therapist License</li>
<li>CRT or RRT Credential (NBRC)</li>
<li>Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record</li>
