Pritchard Industries is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Engineer to join our team. The Building Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the operational functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, across a variety of commercial properties. This role requires strong technical expertise, diligence, and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the facilities. 


Responsibilities
<ul><li>Operate, monitor, and maintain in good working order and condition, the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems, and all other equipment related to the mechanical and electrical plant of the building.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Operate, test, manage and maintain all property systems and equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare, maintain, and regularly review logs for service, repair, operation, and complaints related to the equipment. Make recommendations on the proper care, procedure, and methods of operating the equipment in a safe and efficient manner.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop and maintain in operation, a program for preventive maintenance of the mechanical/electrical equipment and critical site systems. Maintain equipment according to the recommendations of the equipment manufacturer and is responsible for communicating with the systems/equipment manufacturers to obtain necessary data and literature for development of written preventative maintenance procedures, operating instructions, schedules, etc.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Comply with The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and all other applicable government rules and regulations. Material Safety Data Sheet (&ldquo;MSDS&rdquo;) shall be kept and maintained. Engineers shall comply with all safety practices and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>The Engineer shall recommend, propose, and implement, operational mode changes whenever feasible to affect maximum conservation of energy and &ldquo;green&rdquo; products, as well as implement the Demand Response load shedding program as tests and events are called.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain in neat, clean, and painted condition all areas containing building systems and equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Oversee any special maintenance, repairs or other work to the systems and equipment performed by others.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain and manage an ongoing comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all building systems and equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor and evaluate the energy consumption of the Property and shall recommend additions, replacements, enhancements or modifications to existing equipment or systems in order to maximize energy efficiency.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain a daily log of activates and operations. Keep records of equipment documents, preventive maintenance, major repairs, energy management and projects. Maintain records regarding any regulated programs such as asbestos maintenance, indoor air quality and refrigerant management.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform or oversee any testing, inspection, registration or certification for the building equipment or systems.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Make monthly written reports to Manager. Perform an annual audit of the engineering operation and provide a written report of findings and recommendations.</li></ul> 


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / LICENSES
<ul><li>High School Diploma of GED Equivalent</li></ul>
<ul><li>7+ years of related work experience in operating Commercial Building</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Life Safety Systems</li></ul>
<ul><li>Posses and maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license and safe driving record.</li></ul>

May be only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require shift work and/or on call duties.

Engineer

<div>Pritchard Industries is seeking a results-driven Financial Shared Services Accounts Payable Manager to lead the Accounts Payable function within its newly established Shared Services center in Duluth, GA. This role will oversee the end-to-end AP process, including vendor management, invoice processing, payment execution, and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of payments while enforcing internal controls. The AP Manager will drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery, build and lead a high-performing team, and collaborate cross-functionally to support business growth and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Lead and manage the Accounts Payable function across multiple business units and/or geographic regions within a shared services framework.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Oversee the daily operations of invoice receipt, three-way matching, exception handling, approvals, and payment runs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Oversee AP processes related to recurring utility payments and other predictable vendor obligations, ensuring invoices are received, coded, approved, accrued, and paid timely.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support forecasting of recurring utility spend, payment timing, and accrual needs in partnership with Accounting, Treasury, and Operations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain documentation and audit-ready support for utility-related invoices, payment activity, account reconciliations, vendor records, and exception resolution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, SOX requirements, and local tax regulations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated issues related to payments, discrepancies, and disputes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Drive process automation, system enhancements, and standardization initiatives in coordination with IT and process excellence teams.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including AP accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing AP team, including goal setting, training, and performance evaluations.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Establish consistent procedures for invoice intake, coding, PO/non-PO handling, approvals, exception resolution, payment readiness, vendor communication, queue ownership, and escalation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain SOPs, job aids, training refreshers, cross-training plans, quality checks, and coaching routines to reduce rework and ensure consistent execution across the AP team.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.</li></ul> 


Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.</li></ul>
<ul><li>7+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience partnering with IT or Finance Systems on ERP/workflow enhancements, automation, reporting, dashboards, or AP process improvements.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience standardizing AP operations across multiple team members, business units, regions, or legal entities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong understanding of recurring invoice processes, accrual support, utility/payment forecasting, audit documentation, and payment controls.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance/FSCM strongly preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrated ability to build SOPs, enforce process discipline, and improve team consistency in a high-volume environment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in a Financial Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, controls, and AP best practices.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Workday) and AP automation tools.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proven ability to lead teams, manage metrics, and drive efficiency in high-volume environments.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiarity with global tax and compliance regulations (e.g., VAT, 1099, TIN validation).</li></ul>
