PRO Pediatric Services is seeking an exceptional School Psychiatrist to provide services at a local intermediate within an Outpatient Program.
Job Details:<ul><li>
Location: Williamsport, PA</li><li>
Schedule: Part-time</li><li>
Caseload: K-12</li><li>
Additional Details: As a Pier Diem School Psychiatrist, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to promote the emotional well-being and academic success of students.</li></ul>

Job Description:<ul><li>
Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of students referred for mental health concerns.</li><li>
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and school staff.</li><li>
Provide crisis intervention and support to students experiencing acute mental health crises.</li><li>
Offer consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and other school personnel on mental health-related issues.</li><li>
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate care.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.</li><li>
Educate students, families, and staff about mental health topics and resources.</li><li>
Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in child and adolescent psychiatry.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Doctoral degree in psychiatry from an accredited institution.</li><li>
Board certification or eligibility in child and adolescent psychiatry preferred.</li><li>
Valid PA medical license to practice psychiatry.</li><li>
Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or educational setting.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.</li><li>
Must be comfortable using a computer</li><li>
Must be able to complete documentation to school district standards</li><li>
Current clearances (within 6 months)</li></ul>
