<b>Position Summary</b></div>
<div></div><div>Effectively manage the PROENERGY paint shop with the aim of achieving optimum quality and customer satisfaction.</div>

<b>Position Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Supervise Paint Shop employees and manage daily operations.</li>
<li>Order and maintain paint supplies and equipment, ensuring the shop stays organized and well-maintained.</li>
<li>Oversee all surface preparation work before painting.</li>
<li>Ensure all work meets safety, legal, customer, and internal PES standards.</li>
<li>Deliver excellent customer service and promote positive work practices within the shop.</li>
<li>Meet performance goals and production targets.</li>
<li>Motivate and support team members to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).</li>
</ul><div><b>Supervisor Expectations</b></div>
<div></div><div><b>Communication</b></div>
<ul><li>Communicate clearly and effectively with employees and other departments.</li>
<li>Conduct both formal and informal evaluations of direct reports.</li>
<li>Make sure employees understand expectations for safety, quality, and productivity.</li>
<li>Share company updates, policies, and performance expectations with the team.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other supervisors and participate in daily pass-down meetings.</li>
</ul><div><b>Reporting and Administration</b></div>
<ul><li>Ensure all safety incidents and near misses are reported and escalated according to company policy.</li>
<li>Oversee quality reporting, including NCRs, redlines, and part inspections.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate timekeeping, approve payroll, and manage PTO requests.</li>
<li>Submit Helpdesk tickets and request tools or consumables as needed.</li>
<li>Communicate and document schedule progress.</li>
<li>Write mid-year and annual performance reviews for direct reports.</li>
<li>Prepare documentation for performance or disciplinary actions when necessary.</li>
</ul><div><b>Continuous Improvement</b></div>
<ul><li>Lead and participate in shop improvement teams and follow through on action items.</li>
<li>Maintain and enhance 5S standards throughout the shop.</li>
<li>Address and correct policy or behavior issues promptly and escalate when needed.</li>
<li>Recognize and communicate strong performance from individuals or teams.</li>
<li>Suggest and share ideas for design or process improvements.</li>
<li>Track and report manpower hours and performance against goals.</li>
</ul><div><b>Required Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>Minimum high school diploma or GED, or relevant work experience in lieu of education.</li>
<li>Material handling equipment experience:</li>
<li>Must have ability to operate forklift safely.</li>
<li>Must have the ability and knowledge to rig properly and safely run an overhead style crane.</li>
<li>Minimum of six months experience with either supervising or providing technical direction to a team.
</li><li>US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.</li>
<li>Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Desired Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>Associate degree from two-year college in a related technical field or certificate or diploma from trade school in related field and 5+ years&rsquo; experience in industrial painting or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>3 + years&rsquo; experience with directly supervising maintenance staff.</li>
<li>Experience carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.</li>
<li>Technical competence including understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.</li>
</ul>
