This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, diverse healthcare setting committed to excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs and collecting medical histories with accuracy and compassion</li><li>Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, X-ray preparation, and basic life support during emergencies</li><li>Support physicians and nurses in various specialties including dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine, and medical-surgical units</li><li>Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans</li><li>Conduct routine diagnostic procedures such as measuring vital signs and supporting laboratory or imaging tests in outpatient or hospital environments</li><li>Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits</li><li>Support administrative functions like appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate medical records</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics or hospital settings with exposure to emergency medicine or trauma centers (Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, or medical-surgical units is highly desirable</li><li>Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols</li><li>Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical terminology for efficient documentation</li><li>Previous involvement in inpatient care or PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) environments is a plus</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform X-ray procedures or assist in OR settings is advantageous</li><li>Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital experience are a bonus</li></ul>Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment.
